"BC over at the blog 1'm 41 contacted me in a quest to ask:
"50 of the brightest minds in the conservative blogosphere their views, so that I can compile a set a blogging best practices to help act as a guide for the thousands of grassroots conservative bloggers -- so that as a group we can be more effective at attacking liberals."
I gave BC a short summary of what I thought needed to be done in the face of a vicious left, a gutless, mealy-mouthed right, and a culture at war with American values and morality.
Kudos to BC for assembling 18 rules by getting a wide range of comment from an interesting mix of right bloggers like The Lonely Conservative, Jimmy Z, Zilla, Wolf Files, Angry White Dude, Kathy Shaidle, The Black Sphere, Blazing Cat Fur, The Looking Spoon, Chicks On The Right, Waznmentobe McCain and Moe Lane.
It s a great read. So yeah, read it all.
"The Blogger’s Rules For Defeating Liberals"After losing to Obama twice, I decided to ask some of the best bloggers what they thought we could do differently.
Below is a short summary of what they feel like would be the best approach (tips, tactics, what to do, what not to do, attack strategy) for enabling conservative bloggers to help conservatives win more elections.
“War!” Andrew Breitbart ...
"Rule 1 – Pamela Geller (Atlas Shrugs) - A complete reevaluation of the opposition strategy is needed. The Republicans have failed. The Republican Party has failed. The left controls the media, the government, the educational system, and the pop culture. Obama’s reelection is the fruit of 50 years of hammering at the American psyche to destroy American exceptionalism.
Those who are left who still believe in it have to go over the heads of all the centers of power, appeal directly to the people, and formulate new groups and organizations that bypass the corrupt and compromised entities.
The Tea Party did this but failed when the media crushed it. Our only hope is to attempt such an organization anew and decisively throw off old attitudes and perspectives and ways of doing things, refusing to accept the media paradigms, and forming a world view and perspective that is a true alternative to socialism and statism. If we cannot or do not do this, all is lost."...

Ed. note: I'd add the establishment GOP along with the media as Tea Party killers, ie, the Bush crowd, Fox News, etc. I read a comment recently that the only way to move forward is to go underground and I agree. The GOP will continue to silence us by any means necessary including using the most deadly weapon of all, the NY Times.

11/10/12, “America has become an Old World country,” Janet Daley, UK Telegraph
"The saddest development is the one that is most counter-intuitive. Mr Obama – who famously ran in 2008 as the post-racial candidate – has polarised the nation racially in a way that it has not been for half a century, reversing what had been the progressive trend toward real social integration and colour blindness in American political life....
There is a more historically significant, and possibly more permanent, development too. The United States has now acquired an electorally powerful liberal bourgeoisie who are convinced, as their European counterparts have been for several generations, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, that public spending is inherently virtuous, that poverty can be cured by penalising wealth creation, and that government intervention can engineer social “fairness”. But just when some of Europe’s political class has begun to appreciate the dangers of this philosophy – that taken to its logical conclusion, it leads to economic stagnation and social division – America seems to have decided that
- it is the quintessence of enlightened sophistication.
But it should run deeply against all the traditional American values of ferocious self-reliance and personal aspiration.
How does the resentment of the rich, which Obama’s campaign fostered so successfully, sit with the old American dream that the United States was a place where anybody who had talent and worked hard could become rich – even if he had arrived as a penniless immigrant? The idea of “the rich” as an unreachable and undeserving class apart
is an Old World concept rooted in the landed, hereditary wealth of an established aristocracy.
