"It’s not that Donald Trump is that good, it’s that most of the GOP hacks he’s running against are that bad.

The more these illegal-alien-coddling Republicans-in-name-only attack Trump, the stronger he becomes. Every knock a boost. It’s the Hotel California all over again: “They stab it with their steely knives. But they just can’t kill the beast.”

Consider the collection of frauds Trump has decimated over the past few weeks: 

Karl Rove and the rest of the GOP consultant class; The Wall Street Journal and Fox News; the Chamber of Commerce, the Bush family, the Sununus, squirrelly Silicon Valley billionaires, Ron and Rand Paul, the spineless sellouts in the Congressional leadership. 

In other words, the cheerleaders for the welfare state and Obama’s enablers in the “fundamental transformation” of America into a Third World hellhole. 

These are the Beautiful People. They can’t believe they’re losing to Trump. They’re screaming from the dugout, “Hey ump, he’s putting something on that ball!” 

The RINOs sent all their sluggers out there to take him deep. First was Juan Ellis Bush, the guy who describes the heinous crimes of “valedictorians,” which is Jeb-speak for illegal aliens — as “acts of love.” Just ask Kate Steinle’s family. 

Then there was Chris “Krispy Kreme” Christie. He lectures you to give up your Social Security that you paid into in order to provide for everyone who couldn’t be bothered to work, some of whom may even be U.S. citizens. Then he wonders why he’s not catching fire — not even a grease fire at the fryolator.

So now the RINO-industrial complex trots out its latest Great White Hype, Gov. John Kasich of Ohio. As a protege of House Speaker John Boehner, he must be as honest as the day is long, at least if the day is Dec. 21. When you consider the incredible lameness of this clown posse, it’s a wonder Trump isn’t even further ahead.

The Trump surge is not just about illegal aliens, by the way. There are several other crime waves here, one of which is caused by so-called refugees and the recipients of Ted Kennedy’s beloved “terrorist visas.” Think Chattanooga shooter Mohammad Abdulazeez. Think Mississippi ISIS wannabe Muhammad Oda Dakhalla. Think accused Portland, Ore., killer Mohammad Mohammad. Hmmm, all these lone-wolf home-growns seem to have something in common — what could it possibly be?

So Trump puts out a six-page paper to deal with this violent criminal invasion of the United States, and the mainstream media goes nuts. They call it “Mass Deportation,” which is really nothing more than “Mass Enforcement of the Law.”

But their problem is, if they actually report on the specifics of Trump’s plan, they’re going to have to explain to the low-info voters all these fiascoes the Kardashians never, ever discuss — birthright citizenship, anchor babies, sanctuary cities, E-Verify, J-1 visas for those ever-so-grateful “foreign youth,” etc. etc.
