"The annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is just around the corner. Hosted in Maryland from March 14^th to the 16^th, CPAC has long served as an illustration as to what people on the right are talking about. Throughout the 1980’s, Reagan conservatives roamed the conference and discussed supply-side economics coupled with a strong foreign policy. The ’90′s saw a mellower, Republican-based crowd of Bob Dole supporters.

Now, it appears that Tea Party conservatism dominates the conference.

In a recent article for the leftist Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights (IREHR), Devin Burghart warns that not only is the Tea Party very much alive and kicking, but that the Tea Party is dominating conservatism and has taken CPAC by storm. Outlining the variety of Tea Party organizations with a prominent role in the massive conservative event, Burghart denounces the Tea Party as bigots and radicals- a classic trick to delegitimize a formidable opponent that has long been the go-to response for liberals."...

This article even includes a nod to the very propaganda it's engaging in: "a classic trick used to delegitimize a formidable opponent." The GOP/Norquist/Bush crowd uses "trick" articles like this to mislead, co-opt, "delegitimize," steal,  dissipate, or whatever is necessary to beat their "formidable opponent" which is the real Tea Party. The democrats cannot be beaten until the GOP establishment has been removed from the stage.
