9/4/16, "Hillary Clinton needs to end the nightmare," Israel National News, Jack Engelhard, columnist
"Her lapses in memory and judgment ought to be enough to disqualify
her as a candidate for anything between dogcatcher to the presidency of
the United States, given what we know after the FBI released a bucketful
of notes, over the weekend, related to the bureau’s investigation of
Hillary Clinton.
They interviewed her for three and a half
hours. Her answers are startling for their disdain to truth and reckless
approach to national security.
At this point, if this were a TV or movie drama, her best friend would be saying, “Time to get a lawyer.”
Rather, it is time for her to throw in the towel, if she has any love for this country whatsoever.
It’s time to end this national nightmare she has imposed upon herself, her party, and upon the entire country.
More than two dozen times, in terms of her email comings and goings, she said, “I can’t recall.”
That’s the sort of language we hear from bank robbers.
About incoming messages, she testified that she did not know what “c” meant in the header. Confidential, maybe?
As
to transparency, she, or her husband, or members of her team, actually
used a hammer to beat to death particular devices. This signals panic
and desperation to keep us from knowing what sort of information may
have been going back and forth, or rather what sort of “extreme
carelessness” may have jeopardized our national security.
For, so far as this citizen is concerned, what follows is the most damning evidence as to why she is unfit to run for office.
We turn to The Washington Post,
a paper (like all the rest) that tries mightily to destroy Donald Trump
as it tries to save Hillary, but finds itself tied in knots to make a
case favorable to her. A particular paragraph assures us that the FBI
notes “contain no major revelations.”
So rest easy. Mr. and Mrs. America, and let’s get back to the real business at hand, finding imperfections in Donald Trump.
Yes, they keep trying to change the subject because the subject herself is so inconvenient, intolerable and indefensible.
But here, a few sentences later, comes the howler from the Post:
“The FBI found no evidence that anyone penetrated the email of the former secretary of state herself — although hostile foreign actors successfully gained access to the personal e-mail accounts of
individuals with whom Clinton was in regular contact and, in doing so,
obtained e-mails sent to or received by Clinton on her personal
account.”
You wonder what they mean by “actors?” In political, legalistic and law enforcement language, they do not mean George Clooney.
By foreign actors, they do not mean Gerard Depardieu.
What this means is that classified information may well have ended up in the hands of our enemies.
The Rosenbergs were given the electric chair for something like this."
