12/9/15, "Poll: Trump is 20 points ahead in South Carolina," CNN, Theodore Schleifer

"Donald Trump leads the Republican field by 20 points in South Carolina, according to a new poll.

The Fox News poll released on Wednesday shows Trump with the support of 35% of Republicans in the state, more than double Ben Carson's 15% or Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio's 14%. Jeb Bush wins 5% support, and every other candidate has 2% or fewer....
............
South Carolina is polled less often than the first two primary states, Iowa and New Hampshire, and its voting results are often swayed by how candidates fare in the first two contests. But based on current polling, the state is shaping up to be one of Trump and Clinton's strongest.
Fox News polled 437 likely Republican voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points, and 364 Democratic voters for a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points."

Methodology:

"The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw and Company Research (R). The poll was conducted December 5-8, 2015, by telephone (landline and cellphone) with live interviewers among a random sample of 801 South Carolina voters selected from a statewide voter file.  Results for the 364 likely Democratic primary voters have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 5 percentage points and for the 437 likely Republican primary voters it is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points."
