"I was just remembering this article about how all the little consultants and staff of Boehner get so emotional when a new potential Congressman refuses to say if he will support Boehner.

In the same write-up, Politico also reports that Jolly’s campaign managed to tick off House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) staff after he suggested that he might not support Boehner’s re-election as speaker (criticism of Boehner on the campaign trail isn’t unheard of among Republicans this cycle). Twice Jolly refused to say whether he would back Boehner. After the second refusal Jolly tweeted out that he would support Beohner. But there were still hard feelings among Boehner’s staff.
“After all that was done to help Jolly, his noncommital statements on if he supports the speaker made Boehner advisers furious,” a GOP official with close ties to Boehner said according to Politico.

Every candidate now should say “Hell yeah,” when asked if they support Boehner so they lose to the Democrat?  That’s what the Speaker is asking them to do.

You aren’t popular among the people, John.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 29% of Likely U.S. Voters have at least a somewhat favorable opinion of Boehner, while 56% view him unfavorably. This includes five percent (5%) with a Very Favorable view of the Ohio Republican and 28% with a Very Unfavorable one. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

John Boehner has openly and unabashedly rejected the voice of the people who put him in office.

When the same American people tried to gain support to get him out of the Speakership in 2013, he and his staff and lobbyists, like roots from quack grass, went nuts and fought the idea tooth and nail.

They went so far as to accuse tea party people of being non-conservative.  It’s ridiculous and outrageous.

Boehner clawed his way into the Speakership and has planted himself so firmly, with all tentacles reaching so deeply in DC, that the people of Ohio must dislodge him entirely.

The power of the Speaker of the House is being used to prop up one man, instead of being used as an effective tool by a Statesman to resist and undermine this nightmare of a President. Johnny Boehner’s got to go."
