Sabotage Republicans deliver a functional one-party Democrat dictatorship to the US:
3/24/14, "Oberweis shunned by fellow Republicans," WLSAM.com, Chicago, Bill Cameron
"In the race for U.S. Senate, Republican
challenger Jim Oberweis is getting shunned by two top Republicans - one
local, one national.
[Democrat] Dick Durbin is such a favorite for reelection that Republican Senator
Mark Kirk says he’s not even planning to campaign with fellow
Republican Oberweis.
“I’m going to be protecting my relationship with Dick and not
launching into a partisan jihad that hurts our partnership [in which we]
both pull together for Illinois.”
And at his side at an unrelated news conference was Republican Senate
Minority Whip John Cornyn of Texas, in town for a fundraiser, who took a
pass on supporting Oberweis.
“The reason I’m here is for my own reelection, and so I’m not getting involved in the Illinois Senate race at this time.”
And so what you have there are two top senators throwing Oberweis under the bus.
Oberweis responded to Kirk's comments saying:
"I agree with Senator Kirk that no political campaign should be waged
as if it were a holy war and the I have every intention of conducting an
issue oriented competition for the support of Illinois voters. I
respect Senator Kirk’s goal of maintaining a respectful relationship
with his Democratic colleagues in Washington, just as I do in
Springfield. I would never ask Senator Kirk to do anything to endanger
his personal or professional relationship with Senator Durbin. My
understanding is that Senator Kirk is supportive of the efforts of each
of the statewide Republican nominees in Illinois this year, just as the
Illinois Republican Party has supported Senator Kirk in each of his general election contests. I look forward to serving with Mark in the
United State Senate come January 2015."" .

Comment: For the record, Oberweis, isn't a "Tea Party" candidate, is a sitting State Senator, has been around a long time:
"Oberweis, a veteran of three losing statewide campaigns at 67 and a multi-millionaire."...The candidate he defeated, Doug Truax isn't identified as a "Tea Party" candidate either.

Sabotage Republican John Danforth's behavior in Missouri exemplifies how the GOP Establishment has made the Republican Party a joke:
