"I deeply appreciate that day in and day out Mark Levin takes on the Republican establishment. I'm encouraged that he has called out Paul Ryan and others for their disingenuous support of this 1000+ page immigration bill.
It is far past time he call out Marco Rubio, who is the face of this bill. I think if he is going to be sincere on this issue, he needs to highlight the main reason this bill has a chance of becoming law, and that reason is Marco Rubio."

Below are 3 comments from FR. My comment: I agree with original poster. Mark Levin is especially irreplaceable for his consistency in calling out the Bush crowd and GOP establishment, and saying they must be replaced. The topic of what holds him back from correctly identifying and/or speaking out about these offending characters in all cases is complex, and may involve personal relationships, his employer Cumulus Radio, sponsors of his show, pressures brought by ABC Radio Network, etc. I think his feelings about Fox News are in the back of his mind a lot. (To me, he doesn't need Fox News, I don't watch it, and believe as long as Murdoch and Ailes are in charge of it the GOP will never free itself of the Bush crowd. Meaning, the Republican Party doesn't exist, has merged with democrats.) Mr. Levin knows very well that Fox News is packed with Bush crowd hacks, but I think he'd like to be on it a lot more himself. Perhaps he feels his appearances there have done a lot for his career or something. Wanting to be on Fox News and being the most legitimate exponent of the view that the GOP must rid itself of the Bush crowd is a delicate matter. I read that Levin spoke strongly against Boehner when he was on Fox News, I believe Hannity, a few weeks ago. It's complex, but I wanted to mention the Fox News angle. Susan. He thinks Rubio might be the 2016 nominee and he wants to support him if he is(or if he likes the others less).
“Rubio is a great guy and my good friend and he has NOTHING but the right intentions but he is being snookered by those crafty Dems. They are downright diabolical and must have drugged or hypnotized him or kidnapped his daughter. Don't hate Marco for his actions as he is not responsible for them now. I can listen to about 5 to 10 minutes of this dribble before I must tune to another station.

When Rubio first joined the gang of 8 and started talking up the immigration bill, I thought he might just be naive.
Since then, I have read that he was pushing similar while in the state House and as speaker of the state House.
He wasn’t naive about the gang of 8. He knew exactly what they were about.
He hoodwinked many.
Just like Rand Paul is doing and Paul Ryan is doing.
At this stage, the only hope may be what transpired in the US House meeting the 70 conservatives had with Boehner today. Apparently, however, they didn’t accomplish much because there were no headlines after the meeting.

Levin is a Johnny-come-lately to the reality that Paul Ryan is a con man.
Where was Levin in early 2011 when Ryan was pitching his 10 year doll house fake budget resolution ? You know the one that reforms medicare starting 10 years after passage? 'We have to pass it to see whats in it 10 years later'.
Back then Levin was contributing to making Ryan a conservative cult hero, and the dumb mice followed the cheese off the cliff again.
