Media incorrectly blamed Syria Houla massacre on Assad, it was Islamist rebels

.
This is obviously not saying Assad is remotely good, the point is mass misinformation.

6/10/12, "Syria: Houla massacre blamed on Assad regime actually work of jihadi rebels," Robert Spencer, Jihadwatch

"And the BBC illustrated its report on the Houla massacre with a ten-year-old photo from Iraq. All this goes to show: when it comes to jihad violence, you just can't trust the mainstream media. At all. Not even a little bit. "Report: Rebels Responsible for Houla Massacre," by John Rosenthal in National Review, June 9." via Atlas Shrugs

Comment to this story on Atlas Shrugs (by me as "chilipalmer"):

"On BBC radio a few days ago they blamed Christians and Israel for the current Syria problem. One host said to another host or reporter, why do you think the world is allowing this massacre by Assad to go on? The other said, well "Christians living there like Assad," and Israel is close by and they don't want Assad to go."

Ed. note: Just think what the world would be like without the BBC and the NY Times.
