"Are Occupy Tampa protesters hypocrites?" Channel 10, Tampa
I received the link to this story in an email dated Dec. 2, 2011. I couldn't tell when exactly the story aired in Tampa. In any case it describes voting records of 22 Occupy Tampa people who had been arrested.
"The 10 News Investigators checked the public voting records of some of Occupy Tampa's most active participants."
Tampa Channel 10 checked records of 22 Occupy Tampa people who had been arrested at least once. They found:
- 8 of the 22 had never registered to vote
- Only 3 of 22 voted in 2010 when Florida governor and senators were elected
- Only 1 of the 22 had voted in every major race in the past 3 years
- Only 4 of the 22 voted in the 2008 presidential primary
- Only 2 voted in any recent municipal election
The video is shot in Tampa and was reported on a Tampa tv station. The webpage had a banner for a Colorado station for whatever reason.

Following article references arrests just made Thursday night so may be a different/subsequent group of arrests than the 22 mentioned above who had 'been arrested at least once.'
12/2/11, "Police make first mass arrests of Occupy Tampa protesters," Reuters
"Tampa police arrested 29 members of the anti-Wall Street Occupy Tampa group overnight when they refused to leave a downtown park, a police department spokeswoman said on Friday.
They were the first mass arrests of the Tampa protesters from the Occupy movement, which opposes alleged unfairness in the U.S. economic system, since the group's actions began three months ago at another Tampa park.
On Thursday members of the group had marched to Riverfront Park in Tampa and said they wanted to spend the night there. Police told them the park was closed and asked them to leave.
Those who refused to go were arrested and charged with trespassing and resisting arrest, according to police spokeswoman Laura McElroy, who said the arrests took place without violence."...
