3/24/15, "Romney On Holyfield Fight: ‘I Can Fight Anybody So Long as Candy Crowley Isn't Referee,'" Daily Caller, Al Weaver
"As Mitt Romney readies for a new fight, he’s just happy there are no outside forces working against him.
While discussing his upcoming charity boxing match with former
heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, Romney told Fox News’ Neil
Cavuto he has a chance to win as long as Candy Crowley doesn’t
interfere.
“Look, I can fight anybody, so long as Candy Crowley isn’t the referee,” Romney told Cavuto. “We’ll script this out.”
“Oh! It’s scripted?!” Cavuto asked.
“It better be scripted!” Romney joked.
The 2012 GOP nominee was making light of the second debate during
that presidential race, when Crowley butted in and seemingly aided
President Barack Obama while the two candidates were discussing Obama’s
rhetoric in the aftermath of the Benghazi attack.
Romney is set to “fight” Holyfield on May 15 in Salt Lake City." (video at link) via Lucianne
