Donald Trump: Obama 'health care is destroying many, many companies' 1/10/11

Donald Trump was interviewed by Michael Savage on Savage's radio show Monday afternoon, 1/10/11, for about 14 minutes beginning at :34 in the first hour. The two happened to meet at an event over the weekend and Savage invited him on the show. I taped the entire interview and transcribed it onto a yellow pad. I'll be posting the whole interview sometime in the next 24 hours. For now, I'm posting what Trump said about Obama's health plan which came at the end of the interview (which was by phone):

• Dr. Savage said he'd like to see Mr. Trump run for president, that he doesn't see any Republicans likely to beat Obama. Trump's reply:

Donald Trump: "Michael, health care is destroying many, many companies. I know for a fact. I have friends that are literally closing up their companies. They're not going to be able to afford health care."

Trump said he thinks Obama should cancel next week's meeting with the head of China. A meeting should not be rescheduled, Mr. Trump said,

• "until such time as they stop manipulating their currency, etc., etc., because when they manipulate their currency, our companies cannot compete with theirs, they just can't, beyond labor, beyond other things, they can't compete."...

Other topics were OPEC oil prices, more on China, South Korea, Russia, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, the dollar, Dubai and that it's not doing well, NAFTA, the US is everybody's whipping post.
