American values: From 2010-2017 the US smuggled billions in weapons into Syria for use by jihadists. Known as “Timber Sycamore,” the racket involved at least 17 governments and is the most important arms trafficking operation in history. The few remaining Americans not seeking to smuggle weapons to headslicers appreciate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and her efforts since 2017 to pass the Stop Arming Terrorists Act:

A recent New York Times article [11/11/2016] confirmed that ‘rebel [terrorist] groups’ supported by the U.S. ‘have entered into battlefield alliances with the affiliate of al-Qaeda in Syria, formerly known as al Nusra.’ This alliance has rendered the phrase ‘moderate rebels’ meaningless. Reports confirm that ‘every armed anti-Assad organization unit in those provinces is engaged in a military structure controlled by [al-Qaeda’s] Nusra militants.’
A recent Wall Street Journal article [9/29/2016] reported that many rebel groups are ‘doubling down on their alliance’ with al Nusra. Some rebel groups are renewing their alliance, while others, like Nour al-Din al-Zinki, [child beheaders] a former CIA-backed group and one of the largest factions in Aleppo are joining for the first time. “The Syria Conquest Front—formerly known as the al-Qaeda-linked Nusra Front–is deeply intermingled with armed opposition groups of all stripes across Syria’s battlefields.”
“Pouring arms into a war zone only intensifies suffering and makes peace more difficult to achieve.”-Stephen Kinzer, a senior fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University, award-winning author and journalist, and supporter of the Stop Arming Terrorists Act.
The CIA has long been supporting a group called Fursan al Haqq, providing them with salaries, weapons and support, including surface to air missiles. This group is cooperating with and fighting alongside an al-Qaeda affiliated group trying to overthrow the Syrian government. The Levant Front is another so-called moderate umbrella group of Syrian opposition fighters. Over the past year [2017], the United States has been working with Turkey to give this group intelligence support and other forms of military assistance. This group has joined forces with al-Qaeda’s offshoot group in Syria.
This madness must end. We must stop arming terrorists.

How were the Aleppo jihadists supplied with Bulgarian weapons?
During the liberation of Aleppo and the taking of the Saudi staff there, the Bulgarian journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva noted the presence of her country’s weapons in nine warehouses abandoned by the jihadists. She carefully noted the indications on the cases and, upon returning to her country, investigated how they arrived in Syria.
Since 2009 – with the brief exception of the period from March 2013 to November 2014 -, Bulgaria has been governed by Boïko Borissov, a colorful figure from one of the main European criminal organizations, the SIC. Let us recall that Bulgaria is both a member of NATO and the European Union and that neither of these two organizations has expressed the slightest criticism against the coming to power of a mafia chief identified for a long time by the international police services. It is therefore clearly by putting their lives on the line that Dilyana Gaytandzhieva went up the industry and that the editorial staff of Sofia’s daily newspaper, Trud, published her dossier [ 1 ]. While Bulgaria has been one of the main arms exporters to Syria, it has benefited from assistance from Azerbaijan.
The gigantic CIA arms trade against Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and India
Since the beginning of the Arab Spring, a gigantic arms trade has been organized by the CIA and the Pentagon in violation of numerous resolutions of the UN Security Council. All the operations that we are going to recap here are illegal under international law, including those organized publicly by the Pentagon.
In arms trafficking, even when individuals or private companies serve as screens, it is impossible to export sensitive materials without the consent of the governments concerned.
All the weapons we are going to talk about, except the electronic intelligence systems, are of the Soviet type [meaning made by Bulgaria as stated later in the article, as opposed to “NATO type” weapons]. By definition, even if it is claimed that armies equipped with NATO-type weapons are the final recipients of these deliveries, it is impossible. These armies are just used to cover the traffic.
We already knew that the CIA had called on the SIC and Boïko Borissov to make an emergency Captagon for the jihadists in Libya, then in Syria. Since the investigation of Maria Petkova published in Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN), we knew that the CIA and SOCOM (Special Operations Command of the Pentagon) had bought for 500 million dollars of arms from Bulgaria, between 2011 and 2014, for the jihadists. Then that other weapons were paid for by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and transported by Saudi Arabian Cargo and Etihad Cargo [ 2 ].

According to Krešimir Žabec of the Zagreb daily Jutarnji list, at the end of 2012, Croatia delivered 230 tonnes of weapons to Syrian jihadists worth $ 6.5 million. The transfer to Turkey was carried out by three Iliouchins of the Jordan International Air Cargo company, then the weapons were parachuted by the Qatari Army [ 3 ]. According to Eric Schmitt of the New York Times, the whole of this device had been imagined by General David Petraeus, director of the CIA [ 4 ]. When in 2012 Hezbollah attempted to uncover CIA and SOCOM traffic, an attack was carried out against Israeli tourists at Burgas airport, the nerve center of traffic. Against the investigation by the Bulgarian police and the findings of the medical examiner, the Borissov government attributed this crime to Hezbollah and the European Union classified the Lebanese Resistance as a “terrorist organization” (sic). It was not until the temporary fall of Borissov that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kristian Vigenin, stressed that this accusation is without foundation.
According to a source close to the PKK, in May and June 2014, the Turkish secret services chartered special trains to deliver to Rakka, that is to say what was then called the Islamic Emirate in Iraq and Syria and which is known today as Daesh [ISIS], Ukrainian weapons paid for by Saudi Arabia and more than a thousand Toyota Hilux (double cab pickup) specially arranged to withstand the sands of the desert. According to a Belgian source, the purchase of the vehicles had been negotiated with the Japanese Toyota by the Saudi company Abdul Latif Jameel.
According to Andrey Fomin of the Oriental Review, Qatar who did not want to be outdone bought for the jihadists from the Ukrainian state-owned company UkrOboronProm the most recent version of the Air Missile Defense Complex “Pechora-2D”.
The delivery was made by the Cypriot company Blessway Ltd [ 5]. According to Jeremy Binnie and Neil Gibson of the arms magazine Jane’s, the US Navy Military Sealift Command launched in 2015 two tenders to transport weapons from the Romanian port of Constanta to the Jordanian port of Aqaba. The contract was won by Transatlantic Lines [ 6 ].…
According to Pierre Balanian of Asia News, this system continued in March 2017 with the opening of a regular shipping line of the American company Liberty Global Logistics connecting Livorno (Italy) / Aqaba (Jordan) / Jeddah (Arabia) Saudi Arabia) [ 7 ]. According to geographer Manlio Dinucci, it was mainly intended for the delivery of armored vehicles to Syria and Yemen [8].
According to Turkish journalists Yörük Işık and Alper Beler, the last contracts of the Obama era were carried out by Orbital ATK which organized, via Chemring and Danish H. Folmer & Co, a regular line between Burgas (Bulgaria) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). For the first time, we are talking here not only of weapons produced by Vazovski Machine Building Factory (VMZ) (Bulgaria), but also by Tatra Defense Industrial Ltd. (Czech Republic) [ 9 ].
Many other operations have taken place secretly as evidenced by the cases of the freighter Lutfallah II, boarded by the Lebanese navy on April 27, 2012, or the Togolese cargo ship, the Trader , boarded by Greece, on March 1, 2016.
The total of these operations represents hundreds of tons of weapons and ammunition, perhaps thousands, mainly paid for by the absolute monarchies of the Gulf, supposedly to support a “democratic revolution”. In reality, petro-dictatorships only intervened to exempt the Obama administration from reporting to the US Congress (Operation Timber Sycamore) and make it mistake bladders for lanterns [10 ]. All of this traffic was personally controlled by General David Petraeus, first from the CIA of which he was the director, then from the financial investment company KKR which he joined. He benefited from the help of senior officials, sometimes under the presidency of Barack Obama, then overwhelmingly under that of Donald Trump.

In less than three years, Silk Way Airlines has transported arms worth at least $1 billion.
Bit by bit, journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva has updated a vast system which also supplies jihadists not only in Iraq and Syria, but also in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Congo, always at the expense of the Saudis and the Emiratis. Some weapons delivered to Arabia were redirected to South Africa.
The weapons transported to Afghanistan are said to have reached the Taliban, under the control of the United States, which claims to be fighting them. Those delivered to Pakistan were probably intended to carry out Islamist attacks in India. It is not known who are the final recipients of the weapons delivered to President Sassou N’Guesso’s Republican Guard in Congo and to President Jacob Zuma’s South Africa.
The main traders were the American firms Chemring (already mentioned), Culmen International, Orbital ATK (also already mentioned) and Purple Shovel.
In addition to the Soviet-type weapons produced by Bulgaria, Azerbaijan bought stocks under the responsibility of the Minister of Defense Industry, Yavar Jamalov, in Serbia, the Czech Republic and incidentally in other states, each time declaring to be the final recipient of these purchases. Regarding electronic intelligence equipment, Israel made available to the firm Elbit Systems which claimed to be the final recipient, Azerbaijan not having the right to purchase this type of equipment. These exceptions attest that the Azerbaijani program, if required by the United States and Saudi Arabia, was controlled end-to-end from Tel Aviv.
The Hebrew state, which claims to have remained neutral throughout the entire Syrian conflict, has however repeatedly bombed the Syrian Arab Army. Whenever Tel Aviv has recognized the facts, it has claimed to have destroyed weapons intended for Lebanese Hezbollah. In reality, all of these [Israeli] operations, except perhaps one, were coordinated with the jihadists. We therefore learn today that Tel Aviv supervised the arms deliveries to these same jihadists, so that if Israel was content to use its Air Force to support them, it actually played a central role in war.
According to international conventions, the falsification of final delivery certificates and the sending of weapons to mercenary groups, whether they overthrow legitimate governments or destroy recognized states are international crimes.
Operation Timber Sycamore, in its various aspects, is the most important criminal arms trafficking case in history. In the updated parts, it involves at least 17 states and represents several tens of thousands of tonnes of weapons for several billion dollars.”

Comment: On Dec. 20, 2019 Trump did sign an NDAA bill, but I don’t know if Rep. Gabbard’s “Stop Arming Terrorists” was in the version he signed. Also, this bill is apparently only half of the defense spending procedure, the “authorization” part. Another part, an “appropriations” bill, decides how much, if any, taxpayer cash will be allocated for each measure. From govtrack.us:
“The federal budget process occurs in two stages: appropriations and authorizations. This is an authorization bill, which directs how federal funds should or should not be used. (It does not set overall spending limits, however, which are the subject of appropriations bills.) Of course I’m hopeful, but the US weapons and genocide industry has become “too big to fail.” Meaning, you can pull off any crime you want against the American people as long as you do it gradually. We’re literally sitting ducks in a pond. By the time ordinary Americans figure out the US is run by genocide profiteers, so many livelihoods will have become dependent on it that we’ll be told, gosh darn it, it’s too late now, it’s “too big to fail.” Just like banks were allowed to commit financial crimes and ordinary Americans were forced to bail them out because the banks were “too big to fail.” The greatest of all “too big to fail” scams perpetrated on the American people by the US political class is imaginary CO2 danger, global warming fraud which has the extra bonus of being based on demonization of Americans in perpetuity for an imagined sin which, even if Americans surrendered their last penny and committed mass suicide, perpetrated genocide on themselves, it still wouldn’t be enough–with zero global CO2 we’d still be bad. Conversely, Communist China could be emitting perhaps 90% of global CO2, opening new coal plants every week, and no one would care, because it was evil America who “created” the problem. As our self-anointed moral and intellectual superiors in the US political class will tell you, everything wrong in the world is the fault of evil Americans.
