The Republican Establishment was outraged in November 2010 when we gave them a huge landslide victory in the House. Former Republican Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, now a big time Beltway lobbyist, told the Washington Post that it’s imperative for the Establishment to co-opt the newly elected representatives of the people:

“There is always a danger that this election’s invading aliens--aka, tea partiers--will gradually succumb to Beltway mores. Former GOP Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, now a big-time Washington lobbyist, has already told the Washington Post that it’s imperative for his tribe to “co-opt” the tea partiers arriving in D.C."…

Comment: What happened after the Nov. 2010 historic landslide victory we gave the GOP House: 

*they told the new people we gave them to sit down and shut up
 
*spent the next two years trying to get rid of the people we gave them

*told us they couldn't do any of the things we wanted because the House alone had no power

*told us they couldn't do anything without the Senate

*In 2014 we gave the GOP the Senate

*Then they told us they couldn't do anything unless they had the White House too.

*In 2016 we gave them the White House too.
