3/4/16, "CPAC: Jan Brewer, former Arizona governor, says it’s time for GOP to back Donald Trump," Washington Times, Kelly Riddell
"Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Friday it’s time for Republicans to coalesce around GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump and stop their divisive plans to deride the business mogul’s path to the nomination.
“I hate to see this happening to the Republican Party.
We’ve always been the party of the big tent and shouldn’t be eating our
own,” Ms. Brewer told The Washington Times at the Conservative
Political Action Conference (CPAC). “Everybody needs to come together
and coalesce behind our candidate.”
Ms. Brewer, who has endorsed Mr. Trump, said she was encouraged that all candidates remaining in the Republican race — Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and the businessmen — pledged in Thursday’s debate they would support whomever the Republican nominee was.
Ms. Brewer questioned conservatives who support #NeverTrump or have vowed to stay home if Mr. Trump becomes the nominee.
“What kind of Republican would stay home and not vote, and then give the White House to the Democrats for another four bad years?” Ms. Brewer asked. “We live in a republic, we’ll let the people decide.”"
