“The International Coalition having abandoned all hope of destroying the Syrian Arab Republic by force, the United States and the European Union are now seeking to achieve the same result by making people hungry. 

The siege of Syria has begun. Economic sanctions have been severely tightened and will be further squeezed in mid-June. Any person or entity that trades with Syria will be harshly penalized by the United States and the European Union (Caesar Law). 

Such “sanctions” are illegal under international law. Those preventing the supply of medical equipment are guilty of crimes under the Geneva Conventions. 

Jihadists in the north and US troops in the south have started setting fire to fields in a coordinated fashion. Syria has filed a complaint with the United Nations Security Council. 

Within a few days, imported food became impossible to find and the price of local food soared. The Syrian pound collapsed on the foreign exchange market and is currently trading on the black market at a quarter of its official value. 

Meanwhile, President Bashar al-Assad prepared a plan for food self-sufficiency, which will require several years of agricultural implementation. Russia will save the population in the short term, but time is of the essence if starvation in the medium term is to be avoided. 

Protests against food shortages started on 9 June. Syria never experienced a food crisis, not even during the war, except in the areas occupied by the jihadists where the population was coerced into giving them food.”…

“Turkey has imposed its currency, the Turkish lira, in the areas it occupies in northern Syria. 

The governorate of Idleb, controlled by Al-Qaeda [1], became in effect an extension of Turkey mirroring the way in which the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on the island of Cyprus was taken over by Turkey in 1974 during Operation Attila. 

It should be recalled that the pseudo-Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is recognized only by Turkey and that, despite the accession of Cyprus to the European Union in 2004, the self-proclaimed “champion of peace” never defended Cypriot citizens under Turkish occupation. 

The annexation of Idlib is concomitant with the implementation of the siege of Syria by the West (Cesar Act) [2], the coordinated burning of Syrian fields by US forces and jihadist groups [3], and the announcement of Iran’s turnabout to align with Turkey in Libya [4]. 

Such a move corresponds to the “National Oath” [5], written by Mustapha Kemal Atatürk, against the Peace Treaties of the First World War. Plans to annex other Iraqi, Syrian and even Greek regions are also highlighted in the document.”

“Syrian and Russian troops have resumed their strikes against jihadist groups in Idlieb (Syria). 

In response, Al Qaeda assembled under its umbrella five distinct groups known as Fathboutou (“Be firm”). They have a contingent of 30,000 fighters; receive funding and weapons from NATO; and have appointed a joint command structure, as follows: 

*Tanzim Hurras al-din (“Guardians of religion organization”, a group publicly affiliated with al-Qaeda since April 2018)
*Ansar al-Islam (“Defenders of Islam”)
* Ansar al-Din (“Defenders of religion”)
* Liwa al-Mouqatiline al-Ansar (“Brigade of auxiliary fighters”)
* Tansiqiyat al-Jihad (“Jihad Coordination Committee”). 

In their communications with the West, the above groups only refer to their “revolutionary struggle” against the Syrian, Russian and Iranian “regimes”. When it comes to the Arab world, they only speak of the “Islamic Nation”, of “jihad against infidels” and of the “sharia”.”
