Ukraine has become the Mexico of Europe. Such a large percentage of Ukraine’s population has to leave the country to find work while leaving loved ones behind that Ukraine in 2018 is now tops in Europe and Central Asia for remittances sent home to loved ones at $14 billion, per World Bank....Additionally, Ukraine is now the poorest country in Europe, per IMF.

In Dec. 2013 US Senator McCain traveled to Ukraine to lead an anti-government “regime change” protest. As Senator McCain said, “And of course Ukraine is the crown jewel.…Russia, without Ukraine it’s an eastern power, with Ukraine it’s a western power."
