At Ted Cruz event in Waterloo, Iowa, Sat., 1/23, Glenn Beck stole the show, said Iowa caucus goers must let in more indigent foreigners, that US is 'lifeboat of the world,' that Iowa caucus goers and all American voters should care more about what people in other countries think of them

1/24/16, "‘We Are the Lifeboat of The World’: Beck Pleads Cruz Rally To Accept Even ‘Marxist Atheists’ Because ‘They Renew Us ‘," Breitbart News, Matthew Boyle, Waterloo, Iowa

"On stage here, media personality Glenn Beck stole the show from the presidential candidate he’s endorsing, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Saturday night, speaking for about 15 minutes longer than Cruz did, and took the audience way off Cruz’s message.

We have to realize that compassion comes in different packages than what is being sold,” Beck said on the stage for the Cruz event, about 40 minutes into his hour-long rant.

"And let’s not forget that charity begins at home. If we don’t get a hold of our borders, if we let this continue to go on, we are the lifeboat of the world—bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses—we are the lifeboat of the world. Unless we get control of our borders, our boat will sink and we won’t be able to help anyone. There are people who wish to do us harm. There are people who wish to bleed us dry. And those people must be sent home. But at the same time—at the same time—I was with an Irishman this week. I just hired a guy from Ireland. He lives in Dublin. He loves our country so much. He wants to live here so badly. He’s not popular in Ireland as you can imagine."

After explaining more about his Irish friend, Beck noted he hired the Irishman for TheBlaze radio “to remind us of what people think about us on the outside of our country because we have forgotten.

Beck’s speech continued by urging Iowans to support someone like Cruz, who he argued would take risks to bring as many Marxist atheists—like Cruz’s father was when he came in from Cuba— as possible into America from foreign lands on the off chance they might end up seeing the light and becoming conservative Christians.
So when we look at immigration, let’s remember that people—if they want to come here and want to be Americans—they renew us,” Beck said.

"And you never know what somebody might do. There was a Marxist, a Marxist who didn’t really realize how Marxist he was that moved into the United States. A guy who fought in a revolution for Marxist principles. He was a little nuts, a little crazy at the time—almost lost his life in fact in the struggle. Came over here, he was an atheist. Didn’t believe in God. Now, who wants that guy here? Except that guy happens to be Rafael Cruz who fell in love with our principles, fell in love with our country, and raised a man who could be the next president of the United States."

Beck’s windingly long speech Saturday night lasted about 57 minutes, about 15 minutes longer than Cruz’s which lasted about 42 minutes."

Comment: When do Americans get to be good? When will you like us? Never. Globalist people will never change. Never. They're the most inhumane people on the planet yet sell themselves as the "compassionate" ones. Millions of Americans have been kicked around, stolen from and laughed at for decades. Recent articles report down and out Americans are now committing suicide in great numbers. What more do Glenn Beck and Ted Cruz want us to do? We're committing suicide and that's still not enough? The US political class, in particular the Bush crowd, caused a US and global depression. No one has apologized to us for it. They've been rewarded with perches on Fox News from which they continue to lecture us.
The idea of the US as "a lifeboat" was killed off with the 1965 Immigration Act which changed the US into a third world country. If you didn't or don't want to become a third world country, you're a racist, of course. The US for many decades up until 1965 controlled its borders and immigration. It was considered normal to try and protect Americans and American school children from diseases brought in from foreign countries. Until the mid 1950s, all foreign travelers to the US had to stop first at Ellis Island and be screened.

April 2015 article: "Ted Cruz joins the establishment:"

4/22/2015, "Ted Cruz joins the establishment," The Hill, by Rick Manning, contributor

"Establishment, globalist advocates published what will go down as the most disingenuous, deceitful and outright dishonest promotional piece on behalf of the so-called fast-track trade authority that could have been written. Authored by establishment GOP Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and heretofore "conservative" Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), the op-ed in The Wall Street Journal is a compilation of talking points and slick dodges. It is textbook propaganda that would make the disinformation experts of the KGB blush.

The dynamic duo start by asserting that the U.S. must "strengthen the country's bargaining position” by giving President Obama [and all future Executive branches] fast-track powers. Really? The GOP Congress thinks it is vital to our national interest to expand the powers in Obama's hands? And, what exactly "strengthens" our bargaining power? So the only way to win a deal is by convincing foreign governments that the U.S. Congress will be limited in what it can say on the matter? Are we to tell the world that the people and their elected representatives will be sidelined so a "deal" can be done?"...
