Quinnipiac Poll claiming Obama over Romney in Ohio polled 34% Democrats but only 26% Republicans

.

BBC says Quinnipiac Poll shows Obama ahead in Ohio but doesn't say the poll used more democrats than republicans (34%-26%) and more women (685) than men (552), June 19-25, 2012. You have to go to a different page to find this, you aren't alerted to do so, you have to know ahead of time to look for this information.

7/5/12, "Romney and Republicans raise $100m in June," BBC

"A Quinnipiac University poll of Ohio voters last week had Mr Obama leading his rival by 47% to 38% in the state."

6/27/12, Quinnipiac Poll of Ohio registered voters, Obama v Romney

They polled more Democrats than Republicans, more women than men, but didn't reveal this in the extensive details of the poll. The only way you could find this out is to go the end of the page, see fine print saying "Demographic Summary" which you then had to go to another PDF page to get.

Poll dates: June 19 to June 25, 2012
