If you say 'Agenda 21' you are said to be crazy which is why Agenda 21, ICLEI and others are so successful, except in Gaston County

.
Agenda 21 ideals have been put in place over many years outside the awareness of the average American. It has succeeded by ridiculing anyone who dares question it. Some citizens in Carroll County, Maryland fought against it.

Jan. 26, 2012, "RESOLUTION TITLE: UNITED NATIONS AGENDA 21 - TO HEIGHTEN
AWARENESS OF ITS IMPACT ON COMMUNITIES IN THE
UNITED STATES
," by GASTON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, Gaston County, North Carolina, pdf [Ed. note, This PDF seems to be inactive at the moment, following below is excerpt from it:]

Page 105: "The United Nations Agenda 21 is being covertly pushed into local communities throughout the United States of America through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives
  • (ICLEI) through local sustainable development policies such as Smart Growth,
  • Wildlands Project,
  • Resilient Cities,
  • Regional Visioning Projects, and
  • other Green or Alternative projects."...

=====================

Just ridicule people who even mention Agenda 21 and boil them down to nutcases who fear communism. Why did people in Maryland fight this if there's nothing to fight? Why did Phil Angelides say on NPR affiliate WNYC the other day that most Americans will soon be moving out of suburbs and living nearer train stations, and why did Angelides say he assigned funds to help urban areas near train stations and gave suburbs almost nothing because soon few people will live in suburbs? Does the average US media member know the UN is above the law, that they can commit any crime they want, throw our money out the window, and can't be criminally or civilly prosecuted by the US or anyone else?

1/29/12, "County leaders identify ‘insidious' threat of Agenda 21," Gaston Gazette, Michael Barrett

"The United Nations adopted Agenda 21 two decades ago as a global initiative to combat climate change. It endorses practices such as the preservation of green spaces, the availability of good transportation choices, and the prevention of urban sprawl."...
  • (Ed. note: Who wouldn't endorse such practices? This is certainly how the group likes to be perceived, but it's not nearly the truth).

(continuing, Gaston Gazette): "President George H.W. Bush backed the initiative in 1992, and three years later, President Bill Clinton signed an executive order to create a council on sustainable development. Nothing about Agenda 21 is legally binding, but detractors believe its concepts are being worked into the inner fabric of America through local government planning."...

  • (Ed. note: It is not a matter of certain people "believing," it's an easily researched reality this "reporter" apparently doesn't want to know about.

(continuing, Gaston Gazette): "Agenda 21’s opponents can be found sounding the alarm on countless online websites. They have their own critics who say the opposition is based on unrealistic conspiracy theories about “sustainable growth” policies eventually leading to socialism and communism."...

  • (Ed. note: "Ridicule is man's most powerful weapon." Alinsky Rule 5. Most people aren't willing to withstand ridicule).

(continuing, Gaston Gazette): "Yet, county commissioners are among those who believe the theories are legitimate. The resolution they approved refers to Agenda 21 being “covertly pushed into local communities.” It recognizes Agenda 21’s “destructive and insidious nature,” “dangerous intent” and “radical policies.”

Philbeck referred to Agenda 21 last week as a “Marxist weapon, and said more people need to be aware of it.

The Gaston County resolution will now be distributed to the 50 governors of the United States, the National Association of Counties, the N.C. General Assembly and the N.C. Association of County Commissioners." via Climate Depot, Junk Science
