Thank-you, Mr. Putin. You continue to be the only hope for US taxpayers enslaved to US mass murder industry. Trump blocks UN statement backing Syria ceasefire. With any luck, Trump’s war industry will go bankrupt

“US says endorsement is ‘premature.'"
“The ceasefire in Syria’s Idlib Province took effect on Friday, and has been holding so far. With every other nation on board, the US blocked a joint UN statement backing the ceasefire, saying it was “premature” to do so.
The ceasefire was brokered by Turkey and Russia, and that’s almost certainly the problem from the US perspective. The US broadly refuses to back any Syria agreements Russia is involved in.
US officials had also been loudly backing Turkey’s military offensive in Idlib, and probably aren’t happy that Turkey has made a deal not to go to war. US officials weren’t super on board with directly participating in a Turkey-instigated war, but were only too happy to give lip-service to it.
Having the UN back a ceasefire, even if it is one not expected to necessarily survive, is usually the norm, though the US may find, in seeking backing for its Afghan deal, they may face similar resistance.”

“Using show-and-tell-style poster boards as he sat in the Oval Office with Mohammed, who was dressed in his royal robes and checkered kaffiyeh headdress, Trump pointed to lists of the equipment and a map of the United States where he said thousands of jobs would be created. Those states were colored in red; California was one of them.
The president…said of the crown prince, ”We’ve become very good friends over a fairly short period of time.”
“Saudi Arabia has been a very great friend and a big purchaser of equipment and lots of other things,” Trump said….
“The relationship now is probably as good as it’s really ever been,” Trump said, and “will probably only get better.”
After the public portion of the meeting, Trump and Mohammed and their
delegations met privately and had a lunch of halibut and roasted
cauliflower. Trump was accompanied by Chief of Staff John F. Kelly, son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner, who has built his own relationship with the crown prince, and other officials. No female officials were included in either country’s delegation.
The two governments share intense disdain of Iran. Shiite Iran is Sunni-dominated Saudi Arabia’s archrival in the region.
It is the Saudis’ belief that Iran is backing the Houthi rebels in
Yemen that has drawn the kingdom into what has turned out to be a
quagmire — and something of a disaster for Mohammed, who also serves as
his country’s defense minister….
“So far he only believes in himself,” said [the now deceased] Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi political columnist who spoke this week at the nonpartisan Wilson Center think tank in Washington.
The prince is a visionary who wants to truly change the country, Khashoggi added, “but he is not allowing dissent.””

“The fact is, the US is a occupying power, it has no legal right to be in Syria.
it is not invited by the UN recognized Syrian government, nor has the US a UN mandate to have it`s forces in Syria.
The US has and still funds terrorist groups.
Russia is invited by Syrian government, so is iran, together they help the Syrian government to exterminate the terrorist groups.”

“What business is it if Russia supports its ally, Syria, led by the only legal president in Syria? Stop supporting terrorists, USA.”
