8 House districts in California had no Republican on the ballot in 2018; 5 Florida races and 4 Texas races had no Republican candidate. A total of 38 House districts nationwide had no GOP candidate on the ballot. Only 3 races lacked Democrat candidates-Ballotpedia...(It's easier to win if there's no GOP candidate)
