related to Oregon University's Prof. Norgaard seem to be inactive.

Oregon professor: Climate change skeptics diseased, need treatment," Examiner, Joe Newby
"
"Prof. Norgaard attended 4-day 'Planet Under Pressure' conference, where she presented her controversial paper...The scientists behind the event are calling for humans to be packed into denser cities so rest of planet can be surrendered to mother nature. And fellow attendee Yale U. prof. Karen Seto told MSNBC: 'We certainly don't want them (humans) strolling about the entire countryside. We want them to save land for nature by living closely [together].'"--------------------------------------

"Nature deficit disorder 'damaging Britain's children'," Richard Black, BBC
"
UK children are losing contact with nature at a "dramatic" rate, and their health and education are suffering, a National Trust report says....
Evidence suggests the problem is worse in the UK than other parts of Europe, and may help explain poor UK rankings in childhood satisfaction surveys.
The trust is launching a consultation on tackling "nature deficit disorder"....
The phrase nature deficit disorder was coined in 2005 by author Richard Louv, who argued that the human cost of "
alienation from nature" was measured in "diminished use of the senses, attention difficulties and higher rates of physical and emotional illnesses"....

Ed. note: State-owned BBC keeps churning them out. Who in their right mind sits around thinking that
the solution to world problems is
to remove automobiles? Who would bury all the dead bodies? They presume to
shove us in cities one day and the next they say
kids are getting sick from being indoors in cities too much. Playing on pavement isn't quite the dirt and tree climbing experience but it gives the climate monarchy an opening.
Demanding that all kids play in the street is tied to demanding that
cars be removed from many streets and that is in fact
suggested in this article. The article also suggests cars in the street lead to increased
sexual molestation-since people
stay home too much:
BBC: "
Most sexual molestation occurs in the home, for example, not in parks....
"I think the first step for any child is playing outdoors in the street; and in the 40 years since I grew up, traffic has increased hugely, and that's the main reason why none of us let our kids out on their own," Mr Moss told BBC News.
"The only solution would be to have pedestrian priority on every residential street in Britain; when you are driving along the street, if there are children playing, they have priority.""
"Oregon University professor Kari Norgaard suggests global warming skeptics be "treated.""
Examiner: "Norgaard did not specify what that treatment might entail. Electro-shock therapy? Hypnosis? Perhaps she would opt for something similar to "Room 101" in George Orwell's classic, 1984.
Andrea Ryan wrote at the Gateway Pundit:
Kari Norgaard doesn’t understand the basics of the scientific principle. Even accepted science is constantly critiqued…it’s lesson number 1. Real scientists rigorously try to disprove their theory and welcome outside criticism as a way of bolstering the truth behind the science. But, Kari Norgaard wouldn’t know that, because her only science degree is a Bachelors. What she is practicing is social science, which is just Liberalism dressed up as science.
The UK Daily Mail reports that Norgaard is currently in London attending the "Planet under Pressure" conference."...
