4/5/12, "South Carolina Gov. Haley: Ann Romney Is Mitt's 'Golden Ticket'," NPR
"In her NPR interview, Haley discussed the challenges of becoming governor of a Southern state as the daughter of Indian immigrants.
"It doesn't ever go away," she said of questions about her background. "We had a white legislator that called me a raghead, and we had an African-American legislator that said I was just a conservative with a tan. You know, these things won't stop. But it's the fight that you do, it's how you get through it. It's what you prove in the end. And the best part is that the people of South Carolina overcame that."" via Breitbart

She didn't mention that it was a Republican that called her a raghead.
Interesting you bring that up because the Breitbart article said this: "During Haley’s book tour, she has repeatedly ripped her fellow state Republicans; this morning on NPR, she accused members of her own party of racism, stating, “It doesn’t ever go away.”" Somehow Breitbart knew multiple Republicans made slurs but that information isn't stated in the NPR piece. I have no trouble believing individuals with an R next to their name would have made such statements to Haley. But since Breitbart didn't source (at least when I read it) how it knew they were R's I didn't quote them on the post, only mentioned them as the source that referred me to the NPR article.
