If the US House is reconsidering massive diversion of US taxpayer dollars to the UN, why did we give "separate, voluntary contributions" this month to the especially corrupt UNESCO? From which US dollars had been removed since 1984 but reinstated in 2003 by who else, George Bush.

"Only this month, the United States made separate voluntary contributions to Unesco programs for education and clean water....
The Palestinian Authority has asked Unesco to designate the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem...a world heritage site.
- Legislation in the United States mandates a
- cutoff of financing to Unesco if it accepts the Palestinians as a full member....
- about $70 million a year. "...
9/3/11, "How to force the United Nations to change," Benny Avni, NY Post
"In the late 1980s, one of our most internationalist presidents, George H. W. Bush, threatened to withdraw funds from any UN body that admitted “Palestine” as a member state. None did. And back in 1984, the Reagan administration pulled out of the utterly corrupt UNESCO -- forcing it to clean up its act to get US funding restored. (In 2003, President George W. Bush announced UNESCO “has reformed,”
- and rejoined it.)"...(parag. 10)
