Peter Navarro wonders why poisonous Lindsey Graham is still in Trump’s orbit. Simple: Sen. Lindsey Graham Calls Lara Trump ‘the Future of the Republican Party’, and will support her run for US Senate from North Carolina

 .

“Sen. Lindsey Graham Calls Lara Trump ‘the Future of the Republican Party’,” and, “If she runs [for US Senate from North Carolina] I certainly will be behind her.”

Feb. 28, 2021, “There’s Not a Single Piece of Advice that Lindsey Graham Has Ever Given the President, President Trump, That I’ve Ever Agreed With – He’s Just Poison” – Peter Navarro,” gateway pundit, joe hoft

Peter Navarro, PhD in economics, was on Steve Bannon’s radio show this past week and called out Lindsey Graham.

“Lindsey Graham is a problem at this point for me. Lindsey Graham is DACA. Lindsey Graham is the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee that spent four years promising to prosecute people like Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Page, Strozk. He never did it. I don’t understand why. Lindsey Graham is the guy who advised the President not to present an affirmative defense about the fact that that election was stolen from him. And the fact that he flits around and still is in the Trump orbit, I think that’s a big problem. Because there’s not a single piece of advice Lindsey Graham has ever given the President, President Trump, that I’ve ever agreed with. He’s just poison.”

Day One Message: The day after Biden’s inauguration, US military vehicles entered Syria. Message to the World: Fear not. Americans are still global slaves, will be treated as such. Most of the idiots now live under state dictatorships anyway, will likely never be free again

............

Feb. 26, 2021, Discuss: The US Bombs Syria. Again. Syria attack shows Joe Biden was telling the truth when he said “America is back!”" Off-Guardian

“America committed a war crime last night. Another one. We’re so used to it happening that we’ve installed a special filter–one reaction for when America bombs someone, and a completely different reaction whenever someone else does the same.

[Image: Syria map, green portion is one third of Syria US has criminally seized and occupies, a crime against humanity. “Violating both domestic and international law by invading and dismembering a country is an odd way [for US] to support the “rules-based international order.”]

But the US is not exceptional, and its bombs are not special or justified or less bomby just because they have the stars and stripes painted on the side.

Syria is a sovereign nation, and any military action on its people or within its borders, without the express consent of the Syrian government or the United Nations, is considered a crime under international law. This is an important fact, which most everyone in the mainstream seems happy to ignore.

So why did this particular war crime happen?

Well, the US claim the strikes were on a border crossing point used by “Iranian backed” militias, in retaliation for an alleged rocket attack on US service personnel in Iraq last month.

In the now cliche use of twisted Orwellian language, the Pentagon actually called it a “defensive strike”.

Is there any evidence the 22 people killed were those who conducted is this alleged “rocket attack”?

Not that we’ve seen. Is that all there is to it? Very unlikely.

The signs are there that this could be a step to further escalation against both Syria and Iran.

On January 16th the Pentagon announced they had moved Israel from European Command to Central Command (CENTCOM), what some refer to as the “Middle East NATO”. This would, to quote the Times of Israel:

“allow for greater regional collaboration against Iran.”

The day after Biden’s inauguration, a column of US military vehicles entered Syria. Just last week Israel conducted airstrikes on targets near Damascus.

[Day One: Big message on Day One was to the world: Fear not, Americans are definitely still global slaves of the global genocide industry and will be treated as such. They belong to you. The Message is the election wasn’t about helping Americans, about alleviating their government-caused suffering, ending the imprisonment, physical and mental torture of a generation of children, immediately ending ongoing “emergency” dictatorships, opening all schools. The election wasn’t about righting the alleged Covid wrongs imposed on them by Trump, not least the deliberate theft of trillions of tax dollars and murder of a society so that it may never recover, based on nothing but an unverified computer model of a UK math professor smugly cheered on by perverted, skin puncturing billionaires. The election meant that brutalized, impoverished Americans will be treated no better than Trump had treated them, to show them even more depraved indifference by diverting millions more of their tax dollars to pay for more war crimes in Syria, more crimes against humanity, 500 pound bombs, destroying an innocent country thousands of miles away]

(continuing): “Meanwhile NATO has added 3500 troops to its “mission” in Iraq, and Iran is threatening to walk away from the IAEA after facing “censure” from the West.

In short, Biden’s first few weeks in office have been accompanied by a rush of activity in the Middle East.

How has the media covered the attack?

Not that much. Far more screen time has been devoted to the US “report” that Saudi Crown Prince Muhamad bin Salman was responsible for the death of journalist Jamaal Khashoggi – an obvious smokescreen that means almost nothing.

The Guardian hasn’t even seen fit to keep it on the front page for more than a few hours, while CNN buries it behind Khashoggi and other useless detritus. Predictably, nobody in the MSM was really outraged.

The NYT calls it a “calculated move” which “won’t hurt a possible nuclear deal” with Iran. Some other hacks are firmly back on the anti-Syria bandwagon, with Jonathan Freedland writing in the Guardian about Assad and the “age of impunity”. The irony is apparently lost on him.

[Image: Syria map on flag, northeast portion delineated on flag is the one third of Syria that has been criminally annexed and occupied by US military. US hired local “fighters” place “an SDF flag in al-Omar oil field in Deir Al Zor, Syria March 23, 2019. Reuters/Aboud Hamam”]

But combining those reactions, you could argue Syria was the real target here, not Iran, and Syria is in more danger going forward.

The social media reaction was far more revealing, with political “journalists” trying to sell that Biden dropping bombs politely is somehow better than Trump dropping bombs whilst being boorish.

Biden is developing a smart strategy for Iran (show that it can’t attack US troops with impunity but also show willingness to negotiate) and Saudi Arabia (don’t sever the alliance but recalibrate it).

Mercifully absent are Trump’s juvenile taunts. https://t.co/ucdhZUaWkd

— Max Boot (@MaxBoot) February 26, 2021″

Amy Siskind, an “activist” and author for POLITICO is a great example, tweeting this reaction, before being forced by weight of public mockery to delete it:

[“So different having military action under Biden. No middle school level threats on Twitter. Trust Biden and his team’s competence.”]

It’s a good example of what many in the alt-media have been saying for a while – they will attempt to sell Biden/Harris as “progressive” bombers.

But what does this mean for the bigger picture?

There are certainly mixed messages here.

While so many are pushing for a “New Normal”, it seems the US military and their regional allies and some members of the press are looking to carry on as usual in the Middle East. This directly contradicts the UN’s urging for a “global ceasefire” during the pandemic….

Are some factions looking for a New Normal, and other happy with the Old Normal?

As always, discuss below.”

Among feces, urine, vomit, and needles, discarded syringes are single greatest risk factor in homeless camp cleanups. When a volunteer was poked by a potentially HIV-infected needle, the volunteer program quickly ended-Ocean Blue, California Homeless Camp cleanups

Discarded syringes are the single largest risk factor in homeless camp cleanups. "Ocean Blue personnel are trained in the safe-handling of syringes and sharps....The volunteer program quickly ended when one of the volunteers picked-up a bundle of trash and was poked by a potentially HIV-infected needle"

"Homeless Encampments," Ocean-blue.com

"Since the 2008 housing crisis, Southern California has had a surge in homeless encampments. Because of our specialty in handling hazardous wastes—bio hazardous (i.e. feces, urine, vomit, needles), oils, acids, aerosols—we now perform homeless encampment cleanups for some of the largest government agencies in Southern California. We currently perform Homeless cleanups for:

*Orange County Department of Public Works *Caltrans *City of Downey *City of Temple City *City of Lakewood *City of Inglewood *Los Angeles County Department of Public Works *Port of Long Beach *City of Long Beach *City of Covina *City of Pico Rivera *City of Redondo Beach

The first ever surveyed census data by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority. See here for full article.

HYPODERMIC NEEDLES

Ocean Blue has recovered thousands of syringes from homeless encampments. These are the single largest risk factor in these projects. Ocean Blue personnel are trained in the safe-handling of syringes and sharps. These dangerously infectious needles are carefully retrieved with special long reach tools and puncture proof gloves. Once recovered they are immediately placed into a medical safety container for proper disposal.

"[Regarding hypodermic Needles found at homeless camps] We once had local volunteers come out to help clean the homeless camps. The volunteer program quickly ended when one of the volunteers picked-up a bundle of trash and was poked by a potentially HIV-infected needle" -Los Angeles Government Official

Citizens will often report the homelessness to the municipality; either joggers/bicyclists reporting the odors & unsightliness along bike paths, or home-owners reporting stolen bicycles and car break–ins. In turn with local municipalities, law enforcement and social services groups, we perform homeless encampment cleanups. At the time of writing, this year alone Ocean Blue has done over 300 homeless encampment cleanups within Southern California.

Depending on the terrain, we utilize different cleanup strategies. Near the L.A. River, were the terrain is concrete, the homeless will reside underneath bridges. The river's embankments--sometimes rocky & steep--are layered in dirty clothing, syringes, broken bottles, food and paper wastes.

In Eastern Los Angeles County, near the San Gabriel river, the terrain is very wide & natural. The homeless establish their encampments in the brush. During job walks, we can only see tents bordering a wooded area, but we can safely assume the encampment stretches into the woods. Because of the flat/dirt terrain, heavy equipment is strongly utilized....

DIFFERENT GOVERNMENTS DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY
.................

The Homeless crisis is a currently sensitive, hot-debated issue. Among burglaries, illegal drug proliferation and class-action lawsuits, municipalities are held accountable to their respective approach towards homelessness. However the local government presides, Ocean Blue caters its services to its client's needs. Whether we perform homeless encampment cleanings for the State, County, City or Private establishments, Ocean Blue understands different agencies wish to approach homelessness in a respective form & manner. Whether it be to segregate "life-essential items", or using heavy equipment to quickly dispose loads of garbage, or waiting for Law-enforcement protection, Ocean Blue approaches each homeless encampment differently depending on the client's needs.

THE HOMELESS AND THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE
..........

Unemployed, drug addition and mental illness are just a few ways to describe the varieties of homeless people. Interestingly enough each homeless encampments has its own, distinct anthropological footprint; the Orange County Register reports [Jan. 11, 2018]:

Our in-house trash compactors streamline encampment cleanings by minimizing trash volume, and reducing the number of trips to the TSDF."

Mrs. Merkel, please help us. You’re the only one who can stop the US mass murder and starvation machine. It wasn’t enough for Biden that Obama dropped 12,000+ US taxpayer funded bombs on Syria in 2016 alone. New Nuremberg trials must begin against US for crimes against humanity

 .

In 2016 alone, the Obama administration dropped at least 26,171 bombs. This means that every day last year [2016], the US military blasted combatants or civilians overseas with 72 bombs; that’s three bombs every hour, 24 hours a day.

Jan. 19, 2017, “Map shows where President Barack Obama dropped his 20,000 bombs,” UK Independent, Harriet Agerholm

“As the world gears up for a seemingly more violent four years, it is worth reflecting on President Obama’s tenure

According to newly released figures, President Obama had already upped the number of bombs on foreign countries.

US forces dropped over 3,000 more bombs in 2016 than 2015, taking the grand total of strikes for the year to at least 26,171.

This map by Statista shows you where they were….

The figures are likely to be an underestimate, since the only reliable data only comes from a handful of countries, and multiple bombs can be classed as a single “strike” under the Pentagon’s definition.

But of the confirmed bombings, the vast majority (24,287) took place in Iraq and Syria, according to analysis of official data by Micah Zenko, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.”…

[Jan. 5, 2017, “How Many Bombs Did the United States Drop in 2016?” cfr.org, Micah Zenko…”Note: This post was updated to reflect an additional strike in Yemen in 2016 [and one on Jan. 8, 2017], announced by U.S. Central Command on January 12, 2017.”…“The U.S. military conducted strikes…in central Yemen on Dec. 29 and Jan. 8.”]

(continuing): “His research concluded that the US dropped 79 per cent of all 30,743 coalition bombs in 2016.

Mr. Obama leaves the White House having authorised ten times more drone strikes than George W Bush and having been at war for longer than any President in US history.”

Jan. 9, 2017, “America dropped 26,171 bombs in 2016. What a bloody end to Obama’s reign,” UK Guardian, Medea Benjamin

“President Obama…dramatically expanded the air wars and the use of special operations forces around the globe. In 2016, US special operators could be found in 70% of the world’s nations, 138 countries a staggering jump of 130% since the days of the Bush administration.

Looking back at President Obama’s legacy, the Council on Foreign Relation’s Micah Zenko added up the defense department’s data on airstrikes and made a startling revelation: in 2016 alone, the Obama administration dropped at least 26,171 bombs. This means that every day last year [2016], the US military blasted combatants or civilians overseas with 72 bombs; that’s three bombs every hour, 24 hours a day.

While most of these air attacks were in Syria and Iraq, US bombs also rained down on people in Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. That’s seven majority-Muslim countries.

One bombing technique that President Obama championed is drone strikes. As drone-warrior-in-chief, he spread the use of drones outside the declared battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, mainly to Pakistan and Yemen. Obama authorized over 10 times more drone strikes than George W Bush….

What does the administration have to show for eight years of fighting on so many fronts? Terrorism has spread, no wars have been “won” and the Middle East is consumed by more chaos and divisions than when candidate Barack Obama declared his opposition to the invasion of Iraq.”…

"State of Homelessness: 2020 Edition [Data through Jan. 2019]," endhomelessness.org

"As the Alliance publishes this updated version of the State of Homelessness, COVID-19 is creating a health and economic crisis in America and throughout the world.  It is too soon to determine its ultimate impacts.  Thus, this year’s report represents a baseline—the state of homelessness before the crisis began.  It also reflects some early considerations and predictions about the influence of the pandemic on this vulnerable population."

"Sources and Methodology"

Data on homelessness are based on annual point-in-time (PIT) counts conducted by Continuums of Care (CoCs) to estimate the number of people experiencing homelessness on a given night. The latest counts are from January 2019. Point-in-time data from 2007 to 2019 are available on HUD Exchange.

Rates of homelessness are a comparison of point-in-time counts to state, county, and city population data from the Census Bureau’s Population Estimates Program, accessed via American FactFinder (table PEPANNRES: Annual Estimates of the Resident Population, 2018 version). Most CoC boundaries align with one or multiple counties, and about a dozen align with cities that are entirely within one county. However, four CoCs align with city boundaries spanning multiple counties (Atlanta, GA; Amarillo, TX; Kansas City, MO; and Oklahoma City, OK). For these, the population was estimated based on prior year trends.

Data on homeless assistance, or bed capacity of homeless services programs on a given night, are reported annually by CoCs along with point-in-time counts. These data are compiled in the Housing Inventory Count (HIC), which is also available on HUD Exchange for 2007 through 2019.

Data on at risk populations are from analyses by the National Alliance to End Homelessness of the Census Bureau’s 2018 American Community Survey 1-year Estimates, accessed via American FactFinder. Poor renter households with a severe housing cost burden are households whose total income falls under the applicable poverty threshold and who are paying 50 percent or more of total household income to housing rent. For people living doubled up, poverty is based on the composition and income of the entire household as compared to the poverty thresholds. A person is considered living doubled up based on his or her relationship to the head of household and includes: an adult child (18 years old or older) who is not in school, is married, and/or has children; a sibling; a parent or parent-in-law; an adult grandchild who is not in school; a grandchild who is a member of a subfamily; a son- or daughter-in-law; another relative; or any non-relative."

.............................................

Added:

12/21/2019, CNN, "The homeless population in the US increased 2.7% this year [2019] largely because of a surge in unsheltered and chronically homeless individuals in California, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) said in a news release Friday. The study found that 567,715 people across the nation experienced homelessness on a single night in 2019, an increase of 14,885 people compared with 2018."

"Populations at Risk of Homelessness

Many Americans live in poverty, amounting to 38.1 million people [per 2018 US Census] or 11.8 percent of the U.S. population. They struggle to afford necessities such as housing."...
