Democrats try to incite violence at Texas Town Hall, CBS affiliate miraculously on the scene. Tea Partier has tips on dealing with democrat violence

.
Texas Tea Party member lists suggestions on dealing with onslaught of democrats inciting violence especially at group civic meetings (end of page).

8/31/11, "Democrats Inciting Violence at Jeb Hensarling Town Hall in Texas," irish067, RedState.com

"The 2012 elections have started with a bang as SEIU thugs and Democrat pit bulls and brown shirts commandeer a canceled Jeb Hensarling event in the sleepy town of Quitman, Texas. Why commandeer a canceled event? If you know that republican staff will be present, but police will be absent, what better time to train your troops in Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” The number one best seller for communist radicals has found new life in the new, hope filled and slightly changed Democratic Party.

It appears the media may have complicit in the staged protests. Channel 19 in Tyler has not returned my calls or responded to my e-mail to their general manager. A constituent was physically assaulted at the canceled event and threatened with lawsuits. The tactics from Alinsky’s book were applied indiscriminately moving from one target to the next in a deliberate attempt to provoke an incident. During this time, seemingly at the direction of the activists, the news cameras rolled.

Read the entire article. http://www.teaparty911.com/articles/democrats_inciting_violence_jeb_hensarling.htm" photo above from Texas Tea Party 911 website of democrat attempting to incite violence at canceled Hensarling event (I can't seem to find the exact date but I'm guessing it was Aug. 30, 2011, ed.)

Obama needs 272,000 new jobs every month between now and Nov. 2012 to get unemployment below 8

Update, 9/1, Obama admin. admits unemployment likely to remain above 9% through 2012 election, downgrades 2011 GDP estimates to as little as 1.7.

"No matter what the number is, it’s not likely to be anywhere close to the 272,000 jobs the economy would have needed to have created in August

5 simple questions the media won't ask about Gunwalker Fast and Furious program-and which the Obama admin. wouldn't answer

.
9/1/11, "Five Gunwalker Questions the Media Won’t Ask, and the Obama Administration Won’t Answer," Big Government, Bob Owens

"The scandal is not complicated, and would be revealed by the answering of five simple questions that the media dare not demand answers to from this Administration.
  1. Who came up with the idea of allowing guns to be purchased by straw purchasers and then “walked” across the border by smugglers?
  2. Who authorized Operation Fast and Furious in the Department of Justice?
  3. Who authorized Operation Fast and Furious in the Department of Homeland Security?
  4. Is Operation Fast and Furious the only operation of its type, or were there similar operations in Texas, Florida, and other states as evidence suggests?
  5. What, precisely, did Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and Janet Napolitano know about Operation Fast and Furious, and when did they know it?

Answering these five simple questions would go a long way towards revealing if Operation Fast and Furious was merely the most inept and bloody law enforcement operation in modern American history, or if it was–as logic and circumstantial evidence suggests–a criminal conspiracy intent on manufacturing evidence to justify gun control initiatives and further the Administration’s political agenda

Tea Party Express allows Romney and Hatch at rallys, Freedom Works liked Mitch Daniels, so top Tea Party groups advance establishment GOP, Updated

UPDATE: 9/1/11, New Hampshire GOP Chmn. steps down, appears to be GOP establishment victory over Tea Party (first report). "N.H. GOP chairman quits," Boston Globe, by Shira Schoenberg

Concord, N.H., "Embattled New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Jack Kimball stepped down tonight, ending a bitter internal battle that pitted Tea Party activists against long-time Republicans."...

--------------------------------

Tea Party connected group Freedom Works who loved GOP establishment crony Mitch Daniels now says they're against Romney because he's an establishment crony. ""What is the point of having the tea party?”"

8/31/11, "FreedomWorks to protest Romney," Politico, Kenneth P. Vogel

"
A top tea party organizing group, FreedomWorks, is planning to protest Mitt Romney’s appearance this weekend at a New Hampshire stop of a bus tour intended to encourage tea party sympathizers to participate in the Republican presidential nominating process....

And Romney, for his part, hasn’t focused much energy on appealing to the movement. So it attracted considerable attention — both within the tea party and among the GOP operative class — when it was announced Tuesday that he intended to speak at a Sunday evening rally being staged by the Tea Party Express in Concord, N.H., as part of a cross country bus tour set to culminate in Tampa, Fla., ahead of a Sept. 12 GOP presidential debate co-sponsored by the Tea Party Express and CNN.

FreedomWorks, which had been participating in the Tea Party Express’s tour and had helped turn out activists at rallies during prior stops, decided it could no longer be affiliated with the tour, said Brendan Steinhauser, a lead organizer for FreedomWorks.

Instead, it began working with local New Hampshire tea party groups to organize a counter rally set for about the same time in the same park in Concord as Romney’s speech.

“We have to defend our brand against poseurs,” Steinhauser said.

FreedomWorks had voiced quiet displeasure with the Tea Party Express’s decision to grant speaking time at a rally in Utah earlier this summer to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who has been targeted by FreedomWorks. But when Romney’s participation was announced, Steinhauser said that represented

  • “a major line we would not cross.

If we can’t make any distinction between any of the candidates, if we’re just going to provide cover for the establishment candidates, then what is the point of having the tea party?” Steinhauser said. “We’ve got to have a brand, and we can’t water down our brand.”

At least one prominent New Hampshire tea party group — the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire — is planning to participate in the protest, and its organizer, Andrew Hemingway,

  • predicted at least five more groups would join in.

The tea party stands for a few pretty core principles — limited government, individual responsibility — and Mitt Romney does not represent those,” Hemingway said."...

MSNBC contributor says it was racist to ask Obama to change speech date, 'let's face it.' Carville disagrees

""The interesting question is: What is it about this president that has stripped away the veneer of respect that normally accompanies the Office of the President? Why do Republicans think this president is unpresidential and should dare to request this kind of thing? It strikes me that it could be the economic times, it could be that he won so big in 2008 or it could be, let's face it, the color of his skin. This is an extraordinary reaction to a normal sequence of events," MSNBC contributor Richard Wolffe said on "The Last Word.""

Bloomberg News headlines and frames Aug. jobs numbers as caused by Verizon, but in paragraph 7 US gov. official says Verizon had nothing to do with it

.
9/1/11, "Jobless Claims in U.S. Decline by 12,000 as Impact of Verizon Strike Wanes," Bloomberg, Bob Willis

(Opening paragraph): "Applications for U.S. unemployment benefits fell last week as the influence of the strike at Verizon Communications Inc. waned."...

-----------------------

Paragraph 7 is even preceded by a sub-head to the government statement that Verizon was not the reason for slight change in new jobless claims. Bloomberg has already headlined and framed the story claiming the opposite:

"Nothing Special

There were no special circumstances affecting last week’s claims data, a Labor Department spokesman said as the figures were released, adding that there was
  • no indication that striking workers at Verizon influenced the numbers. "...

Warren Buffett clown act about wanting to pay more taxes--he has $1 billion in unpaid tax he's still litigating with the IRS

.
Warren Buffett has a history of trying to minimize his own taxes. One case was resolved in 2005, another has been ongoing for almost a decade. He knows people are 'suffering' but says others should pay.

8/30/11, "Buffett’s Billion-Dollar Tax Hypocrisy," Bill Wilson, NetRight Daily

"Writing for the New York Times recently, Berkshire Hathaway chairman and chief executive Warren Buffett called for taxes to be increased on the so-called “super-rich,” suggesting that he and his
  • elite billionaire and millionaire friends are itching to pay more.

Buffett wrote, “Most wouldn’t mind being told to pay more in taxes as well, particularly when so many of their

  • fellow citizens are truly suffering.”

Of course, if that’s the case, why doesn’t Buffett’s company settle its own ongoing tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)? As Americans for Limited Government (ALG) has reported exclusively — a story given national attention by a New York Post editorial — according to Berkshire Hathaway’s own annual report, the company has been embroiled in an

  • ongoing standoff over its tax bills.

Using only publicly-available documents, a certified public accountant (CPA) detailed Berkshire Hathaway’s tax problems to ALG researcher Richard McCarty. Now, the American people have a better idea of how much in back taxes the company could owe Uncle Sam.

According to page 56 of the company report, “At December 31, 2010… net unrecognized tax benefits were $1,005 million”, or about $1 billion. McCarty explained, “Unrecognized tax benefits represent the company’s potential future obligation to the IRS and other taxing authorities. They have to be recorded in the company’s financial statements.”

$1 billion is not an insignificant chunk of change, even for Buffett, representing about 0.2 percent of the company’s $372 billion in total assets.

So, on one hand Buffett advocates for paying more taxes, but when it comes to his own company’s taxes, he has gone through great lengths to pay less. That’s rich....

McCarty pointed to a prior tax fight the company fought. “Apparently, this is not the first time that Berkshire Hathaway has tangled with the IRS. They fought a 14-year battle over the dividends received deduction. That case was just resolved in 2005,” McCarty said.

Although the prior case was settled in Buffett’s favor, it demonstrates a decades-long

  • pattern of behavior by Buffett to minimize his taxes.
  • That’s the important part of the story."...
