For their own safety, 70+ countries hosting 800 US military bases around the world should immediately evict US personnel and close the bases. US brutally destroyed Syria for no reason and is now threatening sanctions on anyone who tries to help rebuild Syria: “US is shifting its efforts to block the reconstruction of war-torn Syria.”…
8/30/19, “Another Syrian Victory–and West’s Telling Silence,” Strategic Culture Editorial
“The liberation of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib Province by the Syrian army and its Russian ally marks another important victory towards ending the eight-year war in Syria.
Last week saw the return to relative normalcy in the northwestern town which had been held under siege by al Qaeda-affiliated militants for over five years. Situated south of Aleppo on the road to the capital Damascus, Khan Sheikhoun was officially declared under the control of Syrian state forces on August 21 after a hard-fought battle against militants.
International journalists from Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and Russia witnessed the return of residents and efforts to resume electricity services and reopening of schools. Khan Sheikhoun was ransacked by the routed jihadi terror groups, with the typical depravity that had been seen in other liberated areas. But despite the devastation, residents were relieved to begin the task of restoration of what was previously a town renowned for its culture and beauty before the war erupted in March 2011.
The remnants left behind by the defeated militants as well as the identity of dead fighters testified to their terrorist affiliation. Many of them were foreign mercenaries. Khan Sheikhoun was a stronghold for the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group which was formerly known as Al Nusra Front. Notwithstanding the chameleonic name, they are part of the jihadi Al Qaeda terror network which is internationally proscribed and which Western governments are officially opposed to.”..
[Ed. note: Al Qaeda [spelled al-Qa’ida] has been on US terror list since Oct. 1999; Al-Nusra Front since May 2014. Despite some media reports claiming Syria group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), formed on Jan. 28, 2017, was on the US terror list, its name doesn’t appear on the list as of April 2019…“Most of the international community considers Tahrir al-Sham to be a terrorist organisation. The US embassy in Syria confirmed on May 2017 that HTS had been designated a terrorist organization in March 2017. The United
States Ambassador to Syria stated that “HTS is a merger and any group
that merges into it becomes part of al-Qaeda’s Syrian network.” and “the
core of HTS is Nusra, a designated terrorist organization. This
designation applies regardless of what name it uses or what groups merge
into it.” Canada designated Tahrir al-Sham as a terrorist organization on 23 May 2018. In August 2018, Turkey designated Tahrir al-Sham as a terrorist organization.“…There were no additions to the US list in March 2017, the date cited by the US embassy in Syria referenced above. HTS is mentioned 5/31/18 on a separate State.gov website as being included with al-Nusrah Front: “The Department of State has amended the designation of al-Nusrah Front – an al-Qa’ida affiliate in Syria – to include Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and other aliases. These aliases have been added to al-Nusrah Front’s designations as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) under Section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, and as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) under Executive Order 13224.”]
(continuing): “The capture of the town again demonstrates the vile nature of the Syrian war as being one of foreign-sponsored aggression for regime change. In particular, the United States government and its NATO allies, Britain, France, Turkey, and others, are now known to be fully complicit in covert sponsorship of these terrorists.
Khan Sheikhoun is of particular significance because on April 4, 2017, it was dramatically reported by Western news media as being the site of a Sarin chemical weapon attack, allegedly carried out by the Syrian state forces. Three days later, on April 7, the US, Britain and France launched over 100 airstrikes on Syria in what was claimed to be “revenge” against the “Syrian regime” for allegedly committing an atrocity with chemical weapons. Syrian authorities and Russia asserted the alleged Sarin attack at Khan Sheikhoun was a false-flag provocation, fabricated by the militants with the aim of eliciting a military strike on Syria by the US and its NATO allies.
Clearly, after the liberation of the town this month, it is evident that it was a den of terrorist groups which held residents under a reign of terror. Yet for years, the Western news media had proclaimed that these fighters were “rebels” who deserved support from Western intervention. Even as Syrian forces were launching their assault on Idlib Province in recent months, the Western media were animated by shrill reports of “rebels” and civilians being killed by indiscriminate “regime” air strikes. [And angry outbursts by world’s greatest human shield for terrorists, US President Donald Trump, who threatened to "massively attack" Syria if its government merely tried to rescue its own citizens from Islamic terrorists in Idlib.]
Tellingly, the momentous victory at Khan Sheikhoun was met with an astonishing silence among Western governments and news media.
The same duplicitous pattern has been seen before when the Syrian army and its Russian ally liberated Douma, Ghouta, Daraa, Aleppo, Maaloula and many other areas besieged by the so-called “rebels” so lionized in Western media. Syrian residents have been invariably relieved and overjoyed to have their freedom and dignity restored by the Syrian army and Russian forces. Their stories of the horror they endured under captivity are shocking from the depravity and cruelty meted out by Western-backed “rebels”.
That is why the liberation of Khan Sheikhoun, as with other locations in Syria,
has had to be studiously ignored by the Western news media. Because if
they really performed normal journalistic duty what the Western public would learn is that their governments and media have been complicit in huge war crimes against the Syrian nation.
It is all the more despicable therefore that the US is shifting its efforts to block the reconstruction of war-torn Syria. This week, the country is to hold the annual Damascus International Trade Fair. Delegates from some 40 nations are attending and exploring ways to regenerate the Syrian economy and to meet the challenge of reconstruction. Some estimates put minimal repair of infrastructure at a cost of $388 billion. The true figure could be in trillions of dollars.
That bill should be assigned to Washington, London, Paris, Ankara, Riyadh, Doha and Tel Aviv [and the UN] for the criminal aggression they collectively and stealthily inflicted on Syria.
Ahead of the Damascus trade fair, the US was warning prospective foreign investors that they could face sanctions if they did business with Syria. Russia’s foreign ministry condemned the American effort to sabotage Syria’s reconstruction.
As Russian lawmaker Valery Rashkin, who was in Syria this week, put it, the US is trying to destroy Syria through economic warfare after losing its dirty-war military agenda.
The European Union also stands condemned for continuing to impose economic sanctions on Syria. The war is over and it has been exposed as Western-backed criminal aggression. All past accusations against the Syrian state are null and void as malign propaganda. Thus, sanctions on Syria are a contemptible attack on the country by nations whose criminal complicity should actually be a matter of prosecution.
We can only wish the people of Syria well. With international solidarity from Russia, China, Iran and others, Syria will recover its former strength and pride. Syria has won a tremendous victory. The losers are the Western governments and media who have been exposed for the corrupt charlatans they are.”

Added: Ivanka’s “heartbreak and outrage” convinced her father to bomb Syria on April 7, 2017:
It takes months of careful work to establish whether a chemical
attack has taken place, what substance if any was used, etc. Attribution
is a different matter and is often not possible. Certainly, neither the
fact of a “chemical attack” in Syria nor its attribution can be
determined in less than a week. Since neither Ivanka nor Trump traveled
to Idlib to examine the scene, and they provided no evidence to the
American people, the only possible explanation is they had to pretend to
believe and be enraged by an evidence free complaint by Islamic
terrorists in Idlib. In place of evidence, Trump and Ivanka both cited
easily faked pictures of allegedly suffering children as the reason to
bomb Syria. MAGA was dead only ten weeks after Trump took office. On
April 7, 2017, “Heartbroken” Ivanka convinced Daddy to become a Human
Shield for terrorists and bomb Syria for no reason except unvetted fake
pictures from an unvetted chemical weapons claim by Islamic
terrorists in the Idlib terror stronghold: “Trump launches attack on
Syria with 59 Tomahawk missiles," CNBC.com… 4/17/17, “Eric Trump Says Syria Strike Was Swayed By ‘Heartbroken’ Ivanka,” NBC.com, Alexander Smith: “Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Syria was influenced by his daughter, Ivanka, being “heartbroken and outraged“ at the country’s alleged chemical weapons attack….Trump’s 33-year-old son, Eric, told The Daily Telegraph on Monday that the strike was influenced in part by Ivanka, who he said was “heartbroken and outraged” by the [alleged] chemical attack. “Ivanka is a mother of three kids and she has influence,” Eric Trump said....“I’m sure she said, ‘Listen, this is horrible stuff.’ My father will act in times like that.” Trump himself was “deeply affected” by the pictures of children being “sprayed down by hoses to keep their skin from burning,”
according to his son.””…No “heartbreak” or “outrage” for American
voters and taxpayers who are forced to fund US government crimes against
humanity.

Thanks to Mr. Assad and Mr. Putin, the world now knows US is a covert terror sponsor and complicit in war crimes. After brutally destroying Syria, US now threatens sanctions against anyone who helps Syria rebuild-Strategic Culture Editorial…(For their own safety, 70 countries hosting 800 US military bases should close the bases)
Three cheers for Mr. Assad and Mr. Putin for trying to rescue innocent Syrians from a life of misery under rule of US-backed Islamic beheaders in Idlib
.
The only “truce” Syria needs is for US illegal occupation to end and for Trump to stop being a Human Shield for Islamic terrorists in Idlib, threatening a “massive attack” on Syria if its elected president merely attempts to rescue millions of innocent Syrians from Islamic terrorist controlled Idlib. Of course US-made TOW anti-tank missiles provided by the US to terror groups in Idlib enabled terrorists to conquer Idlib province in the spring of 2015 along with billions in US financial backing. Did you know all US humanitarian aid in Syria goes only to terrorist controlled areas, US won’t give a penny to starving kids unless they live under terrorists?

“Since 2011 the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan used Syrian [Islamic terrorist] ‘rebels’ and Islamist Jihadis as proxy forces against the Syrian government. These forces are now mostly confined to Idlib governorate next to the Turkish border. The Syrian army recently made progress against the Jihadis. Turkey did not come to their help. That their resistance is futile began to dawn on them. Syria will recover the whole governorate [of Idlib] and those who resist will be eliminated. The ‘rebels’ fear that their punishment is coming and they now want to flee to Turkey. Unfortunately Turkey does not want them.
Today about a thousand ‘rebels’ tried to cross through the Al-Bab border station into Turkey. Videos show a long line of cars of fleeing people. At the front several hundred men managed to enter Turkish ground. They were pushed back by Turkish army forces with water cannon trucks, tear gas and finally with gunfire. At least two ‘rebels’ were killed. People shouted “Traitor traitor traitor, Turkish army is traitor”.
They burned pictures of Erdogan while screaming takfir [“foreign fighters”] and allahu akbar.
Since the begin of the war on Syria the [Islamic terrorist] ‘rebels’ [and takfiri] hoped that the Turkish army would come to their help or at least protect them. Last weeks meeting between Erdogan and President Putin of Russia finally convinced them that this will never be the case. Since
Russia entered the war on the Syrian side Putin managed to turn Erdogan
from an enemy into a tamed dog. Erdogan was in Moscow to check out the
airplanes Russia will sell him and Putin bought him ice cream. [Image below]
........
After much resistance Erdogan has finally given up on Idlib. While Russia had agreed to a ceasefire in Idlib, Erdogan failed to deliver his part of the deal. The Jihadis in Idlib, supplied by Erdogan, continued to attack Russian forces and Syrian civilians. The Syrian and Russian forces responded with an intense and well targeted bombing campaign and by taking back more and more land. Eleven days ago Turkey made a last attempt to stop the Syrian army by sending a convoy of troops to prevent the recapture of Khan Shaykhun [in Idlib province per above map]. The convoy was bombed and Khan Shaykhun fell.
That was the moment Erdogan gave up. Five of his generals, two responsible for the Turkish observation posts in Idlib, asked for their retirement. Erdogan traveled to Moscow and made some deal. Syria will regain Idlib and Erdogan got an ice cream.
The pressure of people who want leave Idlib after their years of fighting against the Syrian state will not end. Turkey’s economy is in a downturn. The people have become wary of refugees. There is nothing to win for Erdogan by letting more people in.
The Syrian army campaign continues. The next bigger target will be Maarrat al-Numan with a pre-war population of 80,000 people. Most of them have no reason to fear the Syrian government. But many will want to flee the fighting. Each assault will push more people to leave.
There will be more incidents at the border and within Turkey. The ‘rebels’ and Jihadis will want to take revenge on the Turkish traitors who pushed them to fight the Syrian government only to leave them behind when they failed to win. The soldiers in the Turkish observation posts in Idlib are now hostages of the Jihadis.
They may need the help of Russian bombers to fight their way out or will have to sit still until the Syrian army liberates the region around them.”

All UN “outrage” should be directed at terror-sponsor US and not Syria or Russia. “The United Nations Security Council is considering a draft resolution that would call for a truce in northwestern Syria “to avoid a further deterioration of the already catastrophic humanitarian situation,” though diplomats said on Thursday that such a move is likely to face opposition from veto-power Russia.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s forces, backed by Russian air power, have been waging an offensive in the Idlib region, the last remaining [Islamic terrorist, many of whom are takfiri (extremist-jihadi) fighters] rebel-held territory in Syria’s war. [Thanks entirely to massive US state sponsorship of Islamic terrorism in Syria]. Much of the region is controlled by jihadists linked to the former Nusra Front, which was linked to al Qaeda.
Kuwait, Germany and Belgium circulated a draft resolution, seen by Reuters, to the 15-member U.N. Security Council late on Wednesday that would express “outrage at the unacceptable levels of violence escalating in and around Idlib.” It was not immediately clear when they aimed to put it to a vote.
A resolution needs nine votes in favour and no vetoes by Russia, China, the United States, France or Britain to pass.
“Three million people [trapped under terrorist rule thanks to US] — two-thirds of them women and children — are counting on your support to make this violence stop,” U.N. aid chief Mark Lowcock told the Security Council on Thursday….[Now you “care!” Where were you when violent terrorists captured 3 million people in Idlib, thus condemning them to a life of torture and misery?]
Russia’s Deputy U.N. Ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy did not comment directly on the proposed draft resolution, but questioned the timing.
“As soon as the Syrian forces achieve some kind of advantage on the territory and begin to force terrorists out, our colleagues begin to say that we should stop military activity,” he said.
“There is a need to have an uncompromising fight against terrorists.” [Thank-you, Russia. Since the US government today lavishly supports headslicing terrorists, ordinary Americans have no choice but to hope Russia prevails.]
COUNCIL FAILURE
Senior British diplomat Stephen Hickey, speaking at his last Security Council meeting, said that despite best efforts the council had failed the people of Syria [because the Security Council allowed the US to make Idlib a terrorist state]. He noted Russia’s 12 vetoes of resolutions to shield the Assad government during the more than eight-year-long conflict. [This is a complete lie. US and UN are massive human shields for Islamic terrorists in Syria. US has illegally invaded and occupied Syria, has no business there whatsoever. Russia is Syria’s only hope against US funded Islamic terrorist takeover].
“We must now come together urgently to stop the violence in Idlib and to protect Syrians from further suffering,” he said. [Pal, if you're against “violence and suffering” of Syrian people, you’d insist they be rescued from terrorists the US inflicted on them in Idlib].
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia and Turkey had agreed on steps to tackle [terrorist] militants in northwestern Syria and “normalise” the situation. Russian and Turkish forces in northern Syria are allies of opposing sides in the [US invasion and overthrow of Syria] civil war. [It’s not a “civil war.” It’s US mass murder.]

[Ed. note: “International Law?" Great idea, but no one should comply with “international law” until the terror sponsoring US does. Why doesn’t UN say that “particularly” US must respect international law and evacuate 100% of US personnel from Syria within 24 hours? US respects no laws, not even the so-called “rules based international order” it’s supposedly in charge of: “International law contains a whole host of checks and balances built into the system in a way that rules do not….Rules could indeed be made up by whoever has the power to do so, and they could be changed as frequently as the most powerful wishes.”…“Only the Russians are defending international law….Unlike the United States, Russia is not seeking to impose its own vision on the world.” US must apologize to Assad for invading his country for no reason and spending years and many billions of dollars arming terrorists for the sole purpose of murdering Syria.]
(continuing): ““including the respect and protection of civilians and civilian objects, as well the respect and protection of all medical personnel and humanitarian personnel.” [As to “attacks on civilians” in Idlib, the “butchery” is done by US pals, the takfiri, foreign jihadist fighters in Syria who ruthlessly use civilians as hostages. As to so-called “humanitarian personnel” in Idlib, the US continues to protect glamorous jihadist White Helmets personnel by labeling them “humanitarian workers.”]
U.N Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced earlier this month that the world body would investigate [alleged] attacks on U.N.-supported facilities and other humanitarian sites in northwest Syria. Russia and Syria have said their forces are not targeting civilians or civilian infrastructure….[The only “news” coming from Idlib is from jihadist PR groups. All others will be beheaded]
“The rules are clear,” Lowcock said. “People’s homes, hospitals, schools, water systems and markets must be protected. There can be no reason, rationale, excuse or justification for the destruction of civilian areas on the scale seen in Idlib.”” [Who's doing the alleged "destruction" in Idlib? Idlib is terrorist controlled, western reporters can’t go there or they’ll be beheaded. All the “news” from Idlib is from lavishly funded terrorist PR groups like White Helmets. Boy King Macron has authorised gold mining in part of the Amazon owned by France, the colony of French Guiana. In the G7 clubhouse, Boy King Macron threw a souffle in the face of the representative of the American people-Thierry Meyssan, Voltaire

“The G7,which was originally a meeting-place for the Western leaders to better understand their respective points of view, has now become a communication platform. Far from sharing their opinions in private, the guests have become actors in a media show in which each of them tries to deliver a convincing performance. The worst moment of this G7 was the surprise concocted by Emmanuel Macron for the journalists, and against his US guest.
A club, not a decision-making organisation
At the moment of its creation in 1976 by Valery Giscard d’Estaing and Helmut Schmidt, the G-6 was a group for informal discussion. The French President and the German Chancellor wanted to exchange with their counterparts in order to understand their thoughts in the context of the dollar crisis which occurred at the end of the Vietnam war. It was not intended for making decisions, but thinking about the future of the Western economy. The guests were the same as those who had been invited by the US Treasury a little earlier, for the same reason. However, on this occasion, the meeting did not unite the Ministries of Finance, but the heads of State or government, to which Italy was added. The following year, Canada was also invited.

[Image: French Guiana is a French colony that borders Brazil]
With the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the end of the division of the world into two camps, the G-7 began to look at political questions, then associated Russia with these informal discussions. But when Moscow rose again and opposed NATO in Syria, and refused the coup d’etat in Ukraine, trust was broken, and the Western powers decided to meet together as before. This episode shut down any desire to admit the participation of China.
The most recent G-7 meetings have produced a quantity of Declarations and Communiqués. This literature has formalised no decision, but has elaborated a common vocabulary which was all the more verbose since US internal policy was dominated by the « politically correct ». As always when one is unsure of having any counter-powers, the separation between reality and this discourse has grown increasingly.
It is essential that the G7 makes no decision – that would amount to the creation of a cartel within the UNO [UN] General Assembly, and violate the principle of equality of all states, irrespective of their power. There already exists a privilege, recognised by the main victors of the Second World War, of occupying permanent seats in the Security Council and holding the right to a veto. It is a privilege which is a result of realism – no majority of states can impose its will on such great powers.
The 2019 summit
In any case, the importance of this informal meeting can be measured by the cumulative power of the guests. First of all, let’s note the fact that the G-7 unites 9 personalities – the Presidents of the European Commission and the European Council were also invited. It happens that for reasons of health, Jean-Claude Junker was unable to attend. Let’s then note that since 2015, the revolving president of the G7 has invited foreign guests. Emmanuel Macron chose eight, of which three were already present last year – two from the BRICS (India and South Africa), Australia (which had been invited, like Canada, as a British dominion, and should, within a few years, become members of NATO, thus constituting an anti-Chinese force with Japan), and certain « clients » (Egypt, Burkina-Faso, Chile, Rwanda and Senegal). These states will participate in certain meetings, but not all.
President Macron noted the possibility of reintroducing Russia into this closed circle in 2020 (mentioned by President Trump, who will then be presiding the club). This would first suppose that Syria will be liberated, and that the adhesion of Crimea to the Russian Federation be recognised. Besides this, for the participation of Moscow to have any meaning, Russia will have start talking the same language as the Western powers. Sergueï Lavrov has already politely replied that he will examine this ludicrous proposition once it has been formalised.
After the fiasco of the G-7 in 2018, where it proved impossible to elaborate a common language, Emmanuel Macron has chosen to seek a wider and more general discourse, a strategy which always pays off and threatens no-one – a societal and above all, not a social subject – the « fight against inequality between women and men ». Cautiously, he warned that this year there will be no final text.
On the economics level, the consequences of the customs war that is being waged by the USA against China are the main source of preoccupation for the members of the G7. Having no intention of being set up as the accused, as he was last year, President Trump has chosen to attack by denouncing French taxes on Google/Apple/Facebook/Amazon. This is indeed his partner’s weak point. France has chosen to attack the GAFA on the fiscal level, but has not reacted to two more important questions – their monopolistic position and their violations of individual freedoms. These should be resolved on the margins of the meeting in Biarritz by the French and US Ministers of Finance.

The advisors for the Elysée claim that the US President had given his accord, but to what? Mohammad Javad Zarif was not allowed to enter the Hôtel du Palais, where the summit was being held. He was accompanied for three hours by his counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian and the Minister of Finance, Bruno Lemaire, at the Town Hall of Biarritz. Emmanuel Macron abandoned his G7 guests to join his two companions for half an hour. Their meeting took place in the presence of British and German advisors. This impromptu visit will not help the Irano-US conflict, but will set the United States against both Iran and France. This scenario is the first serious international error by a President [Macron] whose sociopathic leanings have been well known since long before his election. By sociopathy we mean a general tendency towards indifference for social norms and rights, magnified by impulsive behaviour.
Conclusion
President Donald Trump considers « politically correct discourse » as the symptom of the hold of the globalist oligarchy on his country. According to the Washington Post, he would have preferred to avoid wasting his time in Biarritz. Clearly, the arrival in town of a guest he did not want to see transformed his boredom into anger. The Elysée advisors assure that Trump’s face to face meetings with his French counterpart went wonderfully well, but according to Trump’s advisors, they were dreadful – starting with breakfast. According to his advisor, Kelly Ann Shaw, the President would prefer that in the next meeting, in 2020 in the United States, new objectives will be implemented.
The final Declaration from the summit in Biarritz [2] is no more than a brief catalogue of the points on which the participants agree. Everyone may note that, despite President Macron’s self-satisfaction, and the veneration with which a certain Press writes about him, it could have been written well in advance – none of the subjects have evolved.”

- A theatrical production by Emmanuel Macron
- ……….
- Emmanuel Macron and his ex-theatre teacher, now his wife Brigitte Trogneux-Macron, had planned a particular production for this summit. No-one can deny its scenic quality and its unexpected developments. The President [Macron] began the summit with a short televised address [1] during which he announced several spectacular initiatives and promised to present the results on the evening of 26 August.
- On the day preceding the summit, the European medias had massively relayed a propaganda campaign according to which the whole of the Amazon forest was burning. Its destruction would deprive the Earth of oxygen and accelerate global warming. However, it is not the forest that is burning, but deforested areas which are submitted to a technique of clearing by fire – and the Amazon region only furnishes a very small percentage of the oxygen in our atmosphere. In reality, certain members of the G7 are hoping to avoid the ACTO (Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organisation) in order to be able to exploit the fantastic mineral, pharmaceutical and timber resources of the region. Emmanuel Macron has already authorised the exploitation by a Franco-Canadian consortium of several gold mines in French Guyana, with no care at all for the forest and its inhabitants. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was right to denounce the colonial character of the G7 enterprise. Emmanuel Macron’s lies will be heavy with consequence.
- Another subject, and not the least – the President [Macron] himself claimed to have received a « mandate » from the G7 to negotiate with Iran. This is evidently impossible, not only because the G7 does not hand out mandates, but also because the USA never delegates this power to other countries. After the world Press had relayed this stupidity with eyes wide shut, and President Trump had waxed apoplectic, Emmanuel Macron recognised his error. He immediately invited the Iranian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Javad Zarif, who arrived instantly in Biarritz, and then met with him. It is impossible to be more spectacular than that, but the buzz was bought at the cost of a public insult to his guest [who was there representing the American people, not himself], Donald Trump, and discomfort for his other guests.

Deutsche Bank is among lenders to whom Jared has given personal guarantee. In 2015, convicted felon George Soros became an investor in Jared’s company including a $250 million line of credit. Trump declared his candidacy on June 16, 2015-Wall St. Journal, May 3, 2017

Deutsche Bank is among entities to whom Jared has provided personal guarantees on more than $300 million of debt…. In 2015, convicted felon, top Democrat donor, and third biggest spending Lobbyist in US via his Open Society Policy Center as of 2018, George Soros, invested in Kushner’s company Cadre and gave the firm a $250 million line of credit. These monies were said to help Cadre, founded in 2014, “get off the ground.” Kushner has “ties to a broad swath of U.S. and foreign banks, private-equity firms, real-estate companies and government-owned lenders.” Properties and companies part-owned by Mr. Kushner have outstanding loans totaling at least $1 billion from more than 20 lenders...The 2015 Soros money is said to have been given before Trump announced his candidacy on June 16, 2015.

May 3, 2017, “Trump Adviser Kushner’s Undisclosed Partners Include Goldman and Soros,” Wall St. Journal, Jean Eaglesham, Juliet Chung, Lisa Schwartz
“Investments show ties to major finance and technology names.”
“Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, is currently in business with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and billionaires George Soros and Peter Thiel, according to people familiar with the matter and securities filings.
The previously undisclosed business relationships with titans of the financial and technology worlds are through a real-estate tech startup called Cadre that Mr. Kushner cofounded and currently partly owns.
Goldman and Messrs. Soros and Thiel, as well as other billionaires’ firms, also have stakes in the company, which is based in a Manhattan building owned by the Kushner family’s company, according to people close to Cadre.
The Cadre stake is one of many interests—and ties to large financial institutions—that Mr. Kushner didn’t identify on his government financial-disclosure form, according to a Wall Street Journal review of securities and other filings. Others include loans totaling at least $1 billion, from more than 20 lenders, to properties and companies part-owned by Mr. Kushner, the Journal found. He has also provided personal guarantees on more than $300 million of the debt, according to the analysis.
In his disclosure form filed earlier this year [2017], Mr. Kushner didn’t identify Cadre as among his hundreds of assets. The Journal identified his Cadre stake through a review of securities and other filings as well as interviews with people familiar with the company and Mr. Kushner’s finances.
Jamie Gorelick, a lawyer representing Mr. Kushner, said in a statement that his stake in Cadre is housed in a company he owns, BFPS Ventures LLC. His ownership of BFPS is reported on his disclosure form, although it doesn’t mention Cadre.
Ms. Gorelick said the Cadre stake is described in a revised version of his disclosure form that will be made public after it has been certified by ethics officials. She said Mr. Kushner has previously discussed his Cadre ownership with the Office of Government Ethics and that Mr. Kushner has “resigned from Cadre’s board, assigned his voting rights and reduced his ownership share.”
A spokesman for the Office of Government Ethics didn’t respond to a request to comment.
Ms. Gorelick said it is “very normal” for a financial-disclosure form to be revised and that the form was prepared by Mr. Kushner’s lawyers on his behalf. A White House spokeswoman referred questions to Mr. Kushner’s lawyer.
Trevor Potter, a Republican former chairman of the Federal Election Commission, and other ethics experts said investments such as Mr. Kushner’s ownership of Cadre typically need to be disclosed. They said Mr. Kushner didn’t appear to violate disclosure rules by not publicly reporting his business-related debts and guarantees. But they said such arrangements ideally should be disclosed, in part because they could force Mr. Kushner to recuse himself from certain issues involving the lenders.
“Anything that presents a potential for the conflict of interest should be disclosed so that the public and the press can monitor this,” Mr. Potter said.
Ethics experts’ concern is that Mr. Kushner’s business connections could jeopardize his impartiality in certain areas and that, absent disclosures, the public is in the dark about potential conflicts.
Mr. Kushner’s rapidly expanding responsibilities range from working on a Middle East peace deal to making the federal government operate more efficiently. As a senior federal official, he is bound by ethics laws that require him to recuse himself from matters that would directly affect his financial interests.
Ms. Gorelick, who was deputy attorney general in former President Bill Clinton’s administration, said Mr. Kushner will “recuse consistent with government ethics rules.”
Mr. Kushner, the 36-year-old scion of a real-estate family, agreed with federal ethics officials to divest himself of more than 80 assets after he and his wife, Ivanka Trump, were hired by her father, President Donald Trump, as senior aides. White House officials have said some of the sales were needed to avoid potential conflicts between Mr. Kushner’s far-reaching job duties and his personal financial interests.
Mr. Kushner is retaining more than 200 other assets, worth a total of at least $116 million, according to his disclosures. These are mostly apartments and office blocks around the U.S. Like his father-in-law, he has declined to put these assets in a blind trust, which ethics experts regard as the cleanest way to avoid conflicts of interest. Someone close to Mr. Kushner said there are practical problems that made a blind trust not a realistic option.
Mr. Kushner co-founded Cadre in 2014 with his brother, Joshua Kushner, and Ryan Williams, a 29-year-old friend and former employee of Kushner Cos., the family-controlled business that Mr. Kushner ran until recently. Cadre markets properties to prospective investors, who can put their money into specific buildings or into an investment fund run by Cadre, which collects fees on each deal.
To get off the ground, Cadre turned to a Goldman Sachs fund and a number of high-profile investors. Among them were the venture-capital firms of Mr. Thiel, Silicon Valley’s most prominent supporter of the GOP president, and Vinod Khosla, a co-founder of Sun Microsystems Inc., according to Cadre’s website. Personal backers include Chinese entrepreneur David Yu, co-founder with Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.’s Jack Ma of a Shanghai-based private-equity firm, hedge-fund manager Daniel Och and real-estate magnate Barry Sternlicht, people close to Cadre said.
Cadre also secured a $250 million line of credit from the family office of Mr. Soros, a top Democratic donor who Mr. Trump criticized during his presidential campaign, the people close to the company said.”...
[Ed. note: Soros and Trump have long been friends and Trump won’t listen to a single bad word about Soros.
In 2004 Soros was part of a group who gave Trump a $160 million loan so he could build his Chicago hotel: “The $160 million investment is in the form of a mezzanine loan, a kind of second mortgage that typically charges a much higher interest rate than a first-mortgage construction loan.…”The massive financing, which sources say also will include a $650 million construction loan from Deutsche Bank.”....Oct. 28, 2004, “Big names back Trump tower,“ Chicago Tribune, Thomas A. Corfman...8/16/2016: “It’s not a lot of money to raise when Soros has your back….Trump has shown little interest in bashing his old lender. A search of tweets from the mogul mentioning Soros turns up zero results. And Trump even once encouraged conservatives to lay off the billionaire.
“Oh, forget Soros, leave him alone, he's got enough problems," Trump said at a 2011 Tea Party rally when one attendee yelled the billionaire’s name at him. “He goes, ‘What about Soros!’” Trump continued. “Let’s talk about somebody else.”…Trump even nabbed a Team Soros alum for his finance team. His national finance chairman, Steven Mnuchin, has worked for the Soros-backed SFM Capital Management and for Soros Fund Management LLC, as the Center for Public Integrity noted in a report.”…8/16/2016, “Donald Trump Took Liberal Icon George Soros’s Money,” “He’s is a villain of the right wing, but that certainly didn’t stop Trump from cozying up to him before the candidate was an official part of the Republican Party.” Daily Beast, Betsy Woodruff] Image of Trump Chicago Hotel by delightful.eu
(continuing): “Mr. Soros’s family office is also an investor in Cadre.
The investors declined or didn’t respond to requests for public comment on their backing of Cadre, but a person familiar with Mr. Soros’s family office said it had invested [in Kushner’s business] in early 2015 before Mr. Trump declared his presidential candidacy.
Cadre has solicited money from investors for several Kushner Cos. real-estate projects, according to information sent to prospective investors and reviewed by the Journal. Jared Kushner personally has stakes in some of the real-estate projects for which Cadre has raised money, according to Cadre documents and his disclosure form.
While Mr. Williams acts as the public face of Cadre, Mr. Kushner remains one of the owners, with the power to “influence the [firm’s] management or policies,” according to the latest public information on file with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Mr. Kushner’s company JCK Cadre LLC is shown as owning 25% to 50% of Quadro Partners Inc., which owns at least 75% of RealCadre LLC, which does business as Cadre. Mr. Kushner has reduced his ownership stake to less than 25%, his lawyer Ms. Gorelick said. [“Common stock and 35 investments had been sold to a trust overseen by Kushner’s mother, Seryl, with other assets going to his brother, Josh, and some more to third parties.]
Mr. Williams, chief executive of Cadre, said the company has been working with regulators to update its public filings to “reflect Jared’s nonoperational, nonmanagement relationship with the company, which has been in place since the inauguration.”
BFPS Ventures, the company that Mr. Kushner’s lawyer said holds his Cadre stake, is shown on his financial-disclosure form as owning unspecified New York real estate valued at more than $50 million. The form adds that “the conflicting assets of this interest have been divested.”
Beyond Cadre, some of the assets Mr. Kushner is holding on to are hard to pinpoint, partly because they are housed in entities with generic names such as “KC Dumbo Office,” according to the disclosure form.
The Journal matched many of the assets to specific real-estate investments. An analysis of the debts on those properties, using real-estate data services PropertyShark and Trepp LLC as well as property records, found ties to a broad swath of U.S. and foreign banks, private-equity firms, real-estate companies and government-owned lenders.
Lenders to Mr. Kushner, either directly or via properties he co-owns, include Bank of America Corp. , Blackstone Group LP, Citigroup Inc., UBS Group AG, Deutsche Bank AG and Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC. Royal Bank of Scotland didn’t respond to requests for comment; representatives of the other firms declined to comment.
Mr. Kushner will recuse himself from matters to which Deutsche Bank or RBS are parties because he has provided personal guarantees on their loans, said a person familiar with his ethics arrangement.”
………………………………………
Added: “His common stock and 35 investments had been sold to a trust overseen by Kushner’s mother, Seryl, with other assets going to his brother, Josh, and some more to third parties….Jared remains the beneficiary of family trusts worth $600 million to him and his wife, Ivanka.”
May 9, 2017, “Are Kushner family real estate assets a conflict for Jared?“ CBSNews.com, Larry Light
“It remains murky just how much Kushner has rid himself of family-related assets. In a White House briefing on March 31, officials said Kushner had resigned from more than 266 entities and “divested from most of those that may have created a conflict of interest.“ A report in Politico said his common stock and 35 investments had been sold to a trust overseen by Kushner’s mother, Seryl, with other assets going to his brother, Josh, and some more to third parties.
Nevertheless, The New York Times reported on Monday that Jared remains the beneficiary of family trusts worth $600 million to him and his wife, Ivanka, the president’s daughter.
What’s to stop Kushner later, after he leaves the White House, from becoming a beneficiary again and rejoining Kushner Cos.? Apparently nothing, according to Richard Painter, the White House ethics lawyer under President George W. Bush. Painter, now a professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, said the assets Kushner shipped to the trust “belong to the family,” and so he can reclaim them in the future.” …
