Minnesota media's double standard on 'global warming'

4/11/13, "Minnesota Media’s Double Standard on Global Warming," m4gw.com, Minnesotans for Global Warming, by Elmer Beauregard

"What a difference a year makes, last year in Minnesota we had an unusually warm winter and an early spring and all you heard from the mainstream press was Global Warming all the time.

This year we are having a colder than normal and longer than normal winter and the word Global Warming is never uttered, just crickets. No one is asking the obvious question “What happened to Global Warming?”

Startribune: Ah, spring: Light-rail disrupted, flights canceled, roads clogged.

MPR: Airport cancelations, ‘thundersnow,’ Worthington blackouts

You betcha if this was a warmer than normal spring like last year all they would be talking about is global warming. I guess it is the job of skeptical blogs like this one to do that, especially when their dire predictions don’t come true.

One bright spot is that they no longer seem to be blaming the cold weather on global warming anymore, I think that ship has sailed.

Last year when the ice was out on Minnesota lakes by now, this year will probably one of the latest ice dates ever, stay tuned." photo, "St. Paul, Minnesota, USA — A car is cleaned on Charles Avenue during a spring snow storm in St. Paul, Minn.
