AEI, alleged conservative think-tank holds 5th secret meeting to promote carbon tax, funded by oil money of billionaire David Rockefeller.

.
Update #2, 7/13/12, I noticed someone named Eli Lehrer attended the Carbon Tax meeting, Session I, 1:45pm. He's listed among other things as a vice president of the Heartland Institute. It seems he has recently started a marketing venture related to man-caused global warming and insurance risk. Whether or not he is still a Heartland VP, it also seems Heartland president Joe Bast endorsed Lehrer's new venture. This is nuts. Heartland is a schizophrenic place. They have key people on staff (or had for some time) who support opposing views on catastrophic man-caused CO2 endangerment.

Update, 7/12/12, "More on the Carbon Tax Cabal," GlobalWarming.org

Attendees and meeting agenda at bottom of post. US CO2 emissions have dropped drastically since at least 2006 and are heading lower. (Not that they were ever a problem but for purposes of this article about CO2 tax meetings). More links listed at end of this post. The idea of "carbon tax" meetings in the US is laughable but no one knows it. NRDC notes lack of media coverage on CO2 drop.

7/11/12, "AEI Hosts Fifth Secret Meeting to Promote Carbon Tax," GlobalWarming.org, Marlo Lewis

"Today, the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a prominent conservative think tank, hosted a secret, four-and-a-half hour meeting of pols, wonks, and activists, including several self-identified ’progressives,’ to develop a PR/legislative strategy to promote and enact a carbon tax. This was the fifth such meeting to advance the ”Price Carbon Campaign/Lame Duck Initiative: A Carbon Pollution Tax in Fiscal and Tax Reform.” An annoted copy of the meeting agenda appears at the bottom of this post.

Perhaps not coincidentally, earlier this week former GOP Congressman Bob Inglis of South Carolina launched the Energy and Enterprise Initiative, an organization promoting carbon taxes. Inglis obtained funding for the project from the Rockefeller Family Fund and the Energy Foundation, both left-leaning foundations."...

About Heartland VP Eli Lehrer going over to the 'marketing' side of CO2 fraud--that's where the trillions of dollars are sitting. Hence his attendance at the 'Carbon Tax' planning meeting, ie big oil money Rockefeller backed types (see parag. 2) who as usual are focused on one thing: taking money from the US taxpayer.
